Your OP would've been much improved had you put the usernames next to them

Let me support that. Some of this might look pretty familiar.

Upon arriving at Ole Miss, Orgeron attempted to bring USC's passing game coordinator, Lane Kiffin, with him as the new offensive coordinator, but Kiffin opted to stay with the Trojans.[10]

Entering the 2005 season, Orgeron had hoped to bring a USC-style offense to the Southeastern Conference (SEC), but found limited success. The University of Mississippi's offense finished the season ranked 111th out of 117 Division I-A schools, in total offense; 115th in scoring; and, 116th in rushing. Orgeron's defensive experience, along with returning linebacker Patrick Willis, helped the Rebel defense in 2005, but as a result of the offensive woes, the 2005 team struggled and finished the season with a record of three wins and eight losses—the Rebels' worst record since 1987.

In response to the results of his first season, Orgeron fired offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone,[11] replacing him with former University of Miami offensive coordinator Dan Werner.[12] Also, Orgeron hired Art Kehoe, the longtime offensive line coach at the University of Miami; both assistants had just been fired by the University of Miami. In 2006, Ole' Miss finished the season ranked #108 in scoring offense, #111 in total offense, and #112 in passing offense.[13]

Orgeron's second recruiting class in February 2006 was successful, acquiring the written pledges of a national Top 15 signing class.[14] He followed that with the 32nd ranked recruiting class in February 2007.[15]

At Ole Miss, Orgeron recorded only two wins against teams with winning records (the 2005 and 2007 Memphis teams, which both finished at 7–5)—the fewest among active SEC coaches at the time. Until the 2007 season, he enjoyed the public support of The University of Mississippi's chancellor Robert Khayat and other administrators with oversight of the football program, including Athletic Director Pete Boone. In a November 2006 article in The Clarion-Ledger, Khayat said of Orgeron and the poor win/loss record since he was hired (7–14, at the time of the interview), "I think Coach Orgeron inherited a very difficult situation....I am 100 percent behind him, and I think that people ought to understand that he has a big challenge."

In 2007, Ole Miss finished the season 0–8 against fellow SEC teams, and 3–9 overall. It was the program's first winless (conference) season since 1982.

Still pisses me off that Larry Fedora wasn't given an interview and we just hand over the job to an idiot shrimp boat captain who failed miserably at Ole Miss after Tom & Jimbo got their $$$.

Larry Fedora is bagging groceries now. We dodged a bigger bullet there than with Herman and $Jimbo

Talk about exposed! Lmao
Is one of the reasons I come to the rant. It’s comedy! Morons are plentiful here.

Yes. Yes it is. Ensminger is still the OC, so he's WRONG.

BTW, Joe Brady didn't just show up at LSU one day. Coach E went to Coach O and said if we want to run RPO, then E needs to find someone to teach him.

Give credit where credit is due. The head coach and the OC saw a need and they filled it.

I'm not taking any credit away from coach O or E for going out and finding Joe Brady. I'm simply saying that the OP stated that the playcalling needed a massive change, it can't just be E; and that that is exactly what happened.

I realize that E is the OC in name, and I realize he has final say, but this offense does not look this way without Joe Brady.

Now, you can, and I'm sure you will, continue to look at the simple line "if E is still OC" and say "look here, see he's wrong," but you know as well as I do that the current E/Brady scenario was not what the OP was talking about when he said "If E is still the OC."

Drop it, Joe. LSU won't compete with Bama as long as Saban is there. The gap between the two programs had wided into a chasm.

The "wait and see" crowd was really judgmental. Only the positives were "wait and see"

There are far more damning nega threads out there too.

Yeah man, crawfish all you want. Orgeron made the fricking call, give him some credit

Where did I say anything about Coach O? He and E both deserve all of the credit for making changes and going out and finding someone who can help them get to where they wanted to be. All I said was the OP wasn't wrong to imply that the offense can't just continue as it has been under E for the last few years.

Some of you on here get so damn defensive.

another moron as Texas slides to a 6-4 season with a top 10 preseason ranking and a heisman contender at QB

We have a subset of Tiger fans who are can't wait to point a finger at any weakness LSU football. And we have a smaller subset of inherently cruel people on this site who have zero restraint or filters.

The list of garbage they have posted over the past few years is completely ridiculous, Maybe the worst behavior relates to the personal attacks on Coach O. In addition, the Scoreboard comments during this undefeated season are absolutely silly and CRAZY.

I guess that's why this site is called Tiger Rant. Lots of good and timely information about LSU sports...peppered with insanity and poison.

For about 18 months, I could not stand coming to the rant. It was so polarized, everyone was either a negaTiger or an Oh-blower, and anyone in the middle voicing concern but also a "wait and see" approach got drowned out by those 2 extremes. This place was not any fun at all.

1 of those 2 groups was going to wind up looking like fools. I will admit I would not have bet it would be the negatigers, but I join in the revelry at mocking their self-assured doom and gloom predictions.

There were some huge idiots that acted like complete jerks over the coaching situation on this board for years. Made it almost unbearable to visit and just talk football.

Worst part is some of them still act like jerks as if they have a higher level of insight when they are on record being completely wrong. They feel justified because they weren’t wrong “at the time”.

I’d never want to call out people by name but at this point I’m glad there are people that do.

frankly don't see how anyone can make a case for Orgeron over Herman anymore. Just admit we got the lesser of the two coaches. He recruits better than Orgeron and actually coaches.
