Kiffin killed it at FAU and OM. At least killed it for their standards.
He pretty much shite the bed with the Raiders, Tennessee and USC.
Does he maybe just feel more relaxed with a lower tier program?

We lost two games on the road to above average teams on the last play of the game.
The SEC is like the NFL now. There’s one undefeated team left in conference and we aren’t halfway through October.
A lot of teams with a lot of big name coaches spending a lot of money are going to finish with 3 or 4 conference losses.

Lane is most comfortable as the underdog. He struggles when he can’t muster up emotion e.g. playing teams on the road that he should handle. He’s an excellent offensive mind but needs a strong HC (Saban type) to keep him straight.
