D1 Baseball has ULL as a bubble team and has stated that Texas St. could steal their bid. Don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just passing the information I’ve seen. No they weren’t a last four in but they aren’t going to give the Sunbelt 5 bids and there are other Sun Belt teams right on that bubble on the outside that have a winning record for ULL.

Troy is also in the mix depending on tournament performance.

They are the 2 seed. Have just as far to go for the bid as ever other team in swac

Southern lost the 2nd game of their conference tournament and will have to win several games in a row to make it and Bethune cookman is a good bit better than the other teams in that conference

It was discussed behind a Thursday Bubble Watch Paywall.

Southern conference may steal a bid as well with top ranked Mercer being eliminated with an RPI of 27.

I’d be surprised if head to head carried over five top 25 wins and a winning record against Q1/Q2 teams but we’ll see. If last night cost them Deggs only has himself to blame for bullpen management.

I expect ULL to be in because of series wins over USM and Coastal I currently see it as 4 bid Sun Belt, But there’s a world where Texas state and Troy get in and they don’t. I’d be shocked if all 5 are taken.

I’m not sure who’s on the committee this year if it’s the same group as last years but it’ll be interesting to see.

I think Troy would need to make it to Sunday. We aren’t a good case to be a team’s best series win. 27 losses is also atrocious.

Gutsy performance this week by UL. I’d say they are definitely in.

RPI is closer to the 20s than being anywhere near bubble. D1 has Cajuns in Austin regional. Longhorns still have nightmares from 2024.

I'm sorry, but Texas isn't losing sleep over fricking ULL. Yall are so much bigger in your own heads than you actually are.

Because that school will inevitably put out a Twitter graphic saying something like “Only Louisiana school to make NCAA tournament” as a shot at LSU And then people here will lose their minds about it as if they do, indeed, care about what is said on the internet It’ll go 4 pages and be a great read

That's what they all are and what they should all be.

LSU, Tulane, La.Tech, Grambling and Southern should be the only four year colleges in Louisiana.

You have to be one of the stupidest people on this site

What was your selection criteria?

Tulane is a private school, as are Xavier and Loyola, and has no place in this discussion.

Student population & 6-year graduation rate

LSU (Baton Rouge): ~41,700 students, graduation rate 69%

UL Lafayette: ~15,600 students, graduation rate 53%

Southeastern Louisiana: ~14,400 students, graduation rate 45%

La Tech: ~11,000 students, graduation rate 64%

ULM: ~8,600 students, graduation rate 54%

Northwestern State: 8,402 students, graduation rate 43%

Southern (Baton Rouge): ~8,300 students, graduation rate 27%

McNeese: ~6,556 Students, graduation rate 47%

Nicholls: ~5,800 - 6,100 students, graduation rate 54%

UNO: ~5,670 students, graduation rate 38%

Grambling: ~5,150 students, graduation rate 36%
