So a walk with 2 strikes called ball, a bunt that was foul advancing the runner, and a 2-1 count instead of 1-2 to their best hitter.

Not really. LSU pissed it away themselves. Numerous opportunities after the last game was tied 5-5 to win it. The biggest mistake was bunting your hottest hitter with one on and no outs.
