Seems LSU is desperate at 3B at this point but it does us no good if the offense doesn't score runs

Who? The other 2 Freshmen are fielding .881 and .860…. I’m not trying to be a smart a but they really don’t have anyone else that can play infield, with Manning playing that is all of them

I’m not arguing about this. One would think it’s fricking dumb to start someone for to r first time in such a huge game but I guess that’s highly debatable
She’s doing well so far. Just reminded me of Beth tossing alea johnson against ULL with the bases loaded when we didn’t use her all season. This isn’t the right game to trot someone like this out but so far it’s not killing us

Why would I complain about us leaning on a freshman that actually has reps rather start someone for the first time against Tennessee?

With so many games in a season In softball, there are days where even the best teams can lose, just like baseball and basketball. Until Torina at least wins a conference championship, I’ll question why we’ve kept her in the last few years. Initially I thought it was a great hire and she got us to a few WCWS. I think that hasn’t happened since 2017 and no SEC championships at all during her tenure. I hope this is the season where they make that leap but I wonder if another head coach could do better. She has as many resources as anyone else to get it done from what I’ve heard and read and all of the time in the world to recruit the best possible players. There really can’t be any more excuses.

People confuse wanting better for Beth Torina and LSU and thinking she’s a terrible coach. I think she herself, besides being a third base coach, has all the tools of a top coach. I have wanted Dobson and leftwich fired for like 4-5 years now . Now that we have Neal I think LSU is poised to be great again hiring an elite pitching coach to go with him.
