357. I know you're an expert. Wasn't Hoover a transfer and already "developed"?

Hoover transferred after 1 year at Stanford but she rarely played there.

Hoover was a god special talent coming out of HS. I remember her recruitment, every major program in America wanted her. She went to Stanford for a year before LSU

This isn't a knock on Torina or any other coaches but sometimes athletes are so ridiculously good that you don't need to do much. Best coaching is stay out the way.

Hoover was injured early in her freshman season at Stanford, which is why she had 4 yrs left at LSU

I doubt they lose to the 4 seed (would be unchartered territory) but they will get waxed facing SDSU again or Arizona St (if they win the next two)

Just checked media guide and we've never gone 0-2 in a regional...

The # 4 seed was 2-0 against the team that just beat us, if I’m not mistaken. This is toughest region this year.

I have never been a fan of transitive property but the way LSU has played they can lose to anyone.

But tonights game was a critical game if they wanted any type of shot to advance. Its now over basically starting in the loser bracket.

Time has come. I don’t know how or why I just know it has. I love Beth but she has lost her edge!

If Beth couldn't win a title with Hoover, Walljasper, Landry, Bell, Jaquish, etc, she won't be winning one.

We need PITCHING very badly. Last game I watched Pleasants was tearing the ball a new one. Wonder what started the slump?

This seems to happen each year. There are periods of time where she struggles and others where she is on fire. Not sure that is on the coaching. The lack of a true catcher and regression of pitchers are valid criticisms IMO.

I think tomorrow will be the final game of the year. Its hard to win a game when the other teams pitcher is better than anybody LSU can throw. Don't know if we cannot recruit better pitchers or cannot develop them. Whatever, Softball Season is over for me. Will check back in Feb 23....hopefully with changes to the program having taken place
