Five from the East and 3 from the West.

Yep, and guaranteed at least one WCWS spot. All the hosts won, UK took down a host, and every SEC team at least won one game.

There could potentially be 7 of 8 WCWS teams from the SEC

Wouldn't that be crazy?

If the "chalk" holds with higher seeds winning next week, the entire left side of the bracket would be SEC.

Edit: which would be a given if 7 teams made it. Ha.

Bell went from Goat to Hero...good to see. I think that ASU girl threw @400 pitches in 3 days and 4 games. Way to go ladies.

Took a trip to the local catholic church for mass b/f bottom of 7th. Just got home and went straight to the best source for LSU sports ...... fitting that Bell would hit the walk-off winner!
Tigers have the best players and the best uniforms and the best ball park in all of collegiate softball. Glad they get to showcase it all in the Super Regional! Congrats Lady Tigers.

I agree a loss in the regionals would have been a huge disappointment. I do think we got a really tough draw. Nebraska was no slouch and ASU with their history and that pitcher on the mound made this regional one of the hardest.

I just hope LSU has finally shaken that Arizona/Arizona State post-season monkey off of their backs. Would be nice to end the seasons for both Arizona teams this year like they've done to us multiple times in the past.

Hopefully Minnesota can score in the 7th and make it a little more difficult for the Wildcats.

Another single. Runners @ 1st & 2nd.
Bases loaded...nobody out.
Force out @ home. 1 out...bases loaded.

GRAND SLAM!!! Minnesota wins! They'll play again.
