Enter Jones and the Cowboys but still $8 mil is mucho dinero for a college coach. Don't think it will happen.

If JJ was gonna drop that for a coach It would be for the cowboys

"We can find better. "

Better than 80% percent winning? You're really not aware how difficult it is to attain AND sustain this.

this whole rumor is so fricking retarded
Actually you're retarded. This is a credible report and Arky has deep pockets. I'd be surprised if Les left LSU, but the opportunity is there.

again, it's not a question of deep pockets. it's a question of investment and that amount of money for anything short of an all star coaching staff is not a good investment for ark football.

plus lsu will pony up.

what if chavis doesn't want to go? too risky. miles isn't that dumb.

The offer is 100% legit. Officials from both sides are denying for obvious reasons. But Long has Michigan ties and is close to Les. And Jerry Jones thinks the world of Les. The offer was intended to be an offer that Miles couldn't refuse. This is NOT a way to get more money from LSU. Its not Les' style. Ive been told that Les will counter the offer and if they match his number than he will take the arkansas job. The wheels have been in motion since last Thursday.

Could be true, Arkansas is known to be a stupid program, They hired the rat Petrino.

I'd actually suggest that Miles takes a small pay cut if he wanted to stay

. This...I'd offer him a pay CUT and tell him he could stay for one more year.

He isn't going anywhere. Just give him some more money. That's what this is about.

yup. and he hasn't had a raise since his nc and his last contract was at the same rate as before. i'm sure if i was in his position i would turn this into an opportunity to get a raise. and i think he deserves one too.
