Seriously? How many times will you people post this inaccuracy for the sake of slamming a Tiger?

The sad thing is these "fans" email these bullshite articles around and get all giddy about a former player possibly doing bad. Yet they are so unfamiliar with the combine to not know there have never been grades given out for combine performance. And they want Jefferson to fail so bad that they don't even check the results of the individual drills to see how he performed.

What's worse is that the poster didn't even read the obvious in this hack job (I wouldn't classify it as an article): score going into the combine.

So why did he not receive a combine invite. It really can't be because JJ is viewed as a better pro QB than him. Can it?

No. High level conspiracy against JL and his obsessed butt hurt fanboys has reached every NFL exec and scout. We are headed down the rabbit hole here bromo's. There may be some "other" things here at play...

I think that JL was actually in the mold of Tommy Hodson, in that he was a college qb. Tommy sniffed the field, but just didn't have it in that league. The pros are a different level where mistakes have to be held to a minimum. I really liked JL and think that had he been given the chance he could have at least made the last game a little more interesting...

I don't really see JJ going too far at the next level.

I know what you're trying to say but they were nothing alike except for having similar arm strength.

JJ is definitely the better pro prospect. Neither guy has the intangibles that you'd want for a high draft choice, and neither would be expected to lead a team any time soon. Both would be long-term project guys, that you'd expect on the practice squad for a couple of years.

That being the case, JJ has all the physical ability you are looking for- big, tall, athletic, strong arm.

Basically, Lee has max'd out his potential from most scout's views, and was mediocre to decent. JJ is still raw as hell, but if the lights go on, he's worth a flyer.

JJ had everything handed to him on a silver platter, and never achieved the success that we were told he was going to achieve.

quote:

Not only did he not achieve success, he had off the field issues and acted like a bitch on the field, he was ALWAYS sulking and blaming his receivers.

I can't think of another LSU QB who had receivers and an offensive line that were so highly recruited, and what did he do with it? Blamed them when he underthrew or overthrew them.

This isn't racism, this is just a fact. Did he have some spectacular plays? Yes, but his shortcomings were even more spectacular. He is not a normal 21 year old and needed to act with the level of maturity of a QB of a BCS contender. In a casino the week of the national championship? Getting in a bar fight during fall practice? WTF kind of leadership is that? He's not a normal 21 year old and we shouldn't expect him to do the stupid things we did in school because you and I weren't given a free education, free clothes, high quality training meals, and the stardom and adoration of the starting QB.

I hope the kid can grow the hell up and turn his life around, but he hasn't done that yet - example: his tweet earlier this week shows his maturity. There's a pattern here, and I don't hope that he fails, but the gravy train is over for him, and I hope to hell he cracked the books in school otherwise he's going to be bagging groceries in the St. Rose A&P blaming the cashier for the bags being too heavy. There isn't a chance he makes it at the next level with that attitude.

I agree, but on different grounds.

JJ lucked into his spot. RP was booted, and the other 2 guys on the roster were at LEAST as suspect as he was. . .

. . .he was seen to have a bit more mobility, and so he got the spot.

It was another way RP screwed LSU.

You define your post as mature?
Sounds the opposite to me.
But what do I know?
