So why did Woodward give McMahon that ridiculous contract again?

I don’t ever remember hearing he was this great up and comer like Wade was. Way to long and way to much. He could’ve hired a nobody and paid nothing to be a placeholder until the heat was off.

Woodward has zero to do with what A&M owes Jimbo now. They extended him after Woodward left and he had one 10 win season.
You guys can say Woodward looks to have failed with firing Wade and hiring McMahon but that doesn’t take away what he has done to the other sports by severely upgrading the coaches.

He did not fire Wade for being caught on a wiretap. That was known well before Woodward arrived. Wade was fired for personally paying players/family from his wife’s checking account. That is against the rules even today under NIL.

Well whatever the reason, my point is that Wade was extremely sloppy and didn’t give himself any outs.
