Probably that halftime speech by Les didn't hurt either.

Healthier (Lawrence, Guice, Alexander, Herron from suspension)
O Line (amazing contributions from true & redshirt freshmen)
The whole team is working harder each week
The team made a decision that enough is enough

Difference of babies and confusion.

A lot of young and inexperienced talent that makes mistakes. New systems and new players get confused and play tentative. Tentativeness gets your arse blown away at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. And confusion mistakes equals blown assignments at the skill positions on both sides.

Today, more experience, less confusion, fewer mistakes, and way more aggression on the line.

Let's hope the maturity, knowledge, and aggression continue to develop.

Team looked lost at the MSU game. They looked weak vs Troy. I think maybe Troy and the ensuing chatter motivated them. Or may the younger players are finally becoming football players.

I fully agree, but Devin White played like Forrest Whittiker's character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Donte Jackson played the second half like the Flash.

Time, experience, heart, and pride being the number 1 factor. Listen to DJ Charks postgame interview. He mentioned multiple times they let themselves and the guys who wore the uniform before them down.

Sometimes you just need a punch in the mouth to realize you're in a fight.

Better execution especially on defense. The blown assignments in both coverage & run fits have dropped off significantly.
This is at top of my list, if I dared to post positive things on this board. I've been saying the D and O have to improve together, they obviously compliment each other and with LSU's issues one is not going to 'carry' the other.

BUT, the D had to lead the way. That's where the bulk of the talent is and easiest to improve.

Better field position, more opportunities/plays, etc.

2. I'm going to assume CEO was micro-managing (as he promised he wouldn't do) and the come to Jesus meeting stopped that... for now at least. Assuming CEO and both coordinators are on same page now; it appears to me he was affecting the D also, not just interfering in offense.

3. Some players have begun holding other players accountable. They may have had the experience or personality to be leaders all along, but now they are getting in faces and making their feelings known. And frick the 'throwing under the bus' complainers; sometimes that is warranted, sometimes it is necessary (with moderation and judiciousness). Etling, White, Chark, Donte, Brumfield, Moore top this list. There are probably others that we just don't know about.

4. Yes, desire as mentioned above. I'd qualify that word by saying that they now know that anything but a very good or best effort every week leads to humiliation. The embarrassment of MSU and Troy (and probably in their hearts Syracuse) can and DO happen if you don't play hard. This has probably caused the change in physicality. After all, they were called 'soft' by multiple people.

The goal now is to keep going. Don't care who the coach(es) is.

A. Our opponents, the good one's, will keep improving
B. If you're not going forward, you are going backwards. Static is death.
C. It is a matter of pride. They lose the pride, the improvements stop. They stop improving, there is a lack of pride.

[How dare I suggest there have been improvements, and more are possible!! I know, I'm part of the reason the program is being destroyed... me and my magical tigerdroppings postings are sending out theta radiation that is influencing Alleva and FKA preventing Orgeron from being fired. Yeah, fvck you too]

Florida is trash.

Auburn is over rated. If everyone recalls last year, the loser of the game was projected to be fired. Auburn is not a good football team. Average.

It took a punt return and Gus not going for a 4 and inches (all the Auburn fans were like wtf) for us to win.
