Nah. Not me. Baton Rouge is Actually a great place to live and I am very proud to live here. I have been to Scottsdale and yes it is also a great place but quite the sanitized lifestyle. Again nothing wrong with it but not for me. I like a place that has an identify and some culture. I am happy for you if you feel like you had to get out but getting on a sports board and acting like this high and mighty guy that “ got out “ seems like you have some serious issues. If you are reasonable guy, go back and read your posts. They aren’t normal

Just now per WBRZ , report only identified Helaire, did not name other player. Did not name person shot, confirmed the death.
Reports said tv station asked for comment from BRPD...BRPD not commenting so far.
No new details about what actually happened.
Still a mystery..

Curious only one person named. Why release only Hilaire's name?

Agreed pmtiger.

Spent a good portion of my life out of state and out of country and Baton Rouge was always what I wanted to come back to.

You can purchase a handgun in Louisiana at 17 through private sale (but not through a commercial transaction).

Right. And The Fed law simply prohibits PURCHASE of a handgun under 21 which is why commercial isn't allowed.

Wayde Sims was shot in Scotlandville, or Southern. Not sure I wouldn't make this destination off limits to any of my players. Damn sad shame you'd have to do that but do what's best for everyone's safety.

Trev.

Glad to hear it. More people need to speak up about Baton Rouge and it’s positives. We got plenty to work on , need everyone.

I hate to say this, but I'll post the question:

Does CEH crack the top 2 on depth chart after this game ever again anyways?

High and mighty-acting, no, hell no, I'm a humble man. You've badly misconstrued my comments. I'm simply looking at statistics. The statistics with regards to violent crime don't lie. Baton Rouge has gone to hell. Have you been to Mall of Louisiana lately ? Be sure to wear a bullet-proof vest.

If everything here is true, CEH will be cleared soon and be fully with the team going into next season. So the answer to this question is the same as it would have been if nothing happened. We don't know.

Bad shite happens all over the place. I don't think you can just tell kids what part of town they can and can't go to.

That's a bit of an embellishment. I work across the street from there. It's not a dangerous part of town by any means. And I'll be the first to admit that BR isn't what it was in the 80s.

Didn’t happen like this(my opinion)...I just so happen to know the guy who got shot, vaguely... but I’ve known his uncles and father for years... Victim more than likely is in the wrong, but I don’t think a PS4 is involved... like I stated this is all my opinion... I have no idea what really happened

They probably know exactly which person has which console.

Is it possible that he had a playstation already and is selling it because he is getting one from the bowl?

Yes, I'm exaggerating a bit, but my father-in-law mentioned a shooting there a while back, so I now have a sour taste towards it.
