So what changes does CFW make for the Bama game?

I like that he’ll have two weeks to settle in and prepare his way. I’m hoping he goes with MVB for the start but you never know. Maybe Weeks will be available by then and we can get something going. It would be absolutely wild if we end up winning out from here with whatever changes he makes.

Benching Nuss altogether or having an extremely short leash on him would be ideal

Bama is very beatable if he can get the team motivated. I'd love to at least see MVB get some playing time at Bama

No. 1: bench Nuss, start MVB. Bench any O-lineman that can't keep from stumbling and falling down.

I’d like for him to announce Nuss gets the start now then prepare MVB for the role and trot him out instead.

A mobile QB is needed.

Nuss would get killed.

I’m torn. I want to see MVB get his chance and see what we have on the team for next year. However, there is a part of me that is really curious about what Nussmeier might do with a new play caller (assuming those changes are made this week as well). I wonder if the coaching has been so bad from both a technical football perspective as well as a leadership/interpersonal perspective that he never had a chance this year. If so, it would be interesting to see how he responds.

We'd be playing with nobody

LSU will lose by 30+ if they play MVB against Bama.

Alabama doesn't really have what LSU struggles against, a dual threat QB.

Simpson is a pocket passer and LSU tends to do well against this types of guys.

Look at all the guys LSU has struggled against . Marcel Reid, Diego Pavia, Trinidad Chambliss.
All dual threat guys.

I get what you're saying, but Nussmeier's biggest issue is decision making/reading the defense. He's in his fifth year, second full year starting. I don't see that improving in the next two weeks. He is exactly the QB we've seen this year and I don't think that's changing.

They lost by a touchdown in both road games against Top-10 opponents. WITH Nussmeier so that's highly unlikely.

Remind me what Nuss did last year, AT HOME, against Bama?

Yeah, we are losing with Nuss. Time to try something new. Flush the shite.

That's irrelevant to THIS season.
