Brody Trosclair was hurt that we didn’t offer him out of HS.
I have it on good authority that LSU didn't offer him this time either.

It seems we've gotten a little bit more money to throw around, but at the same time we are giving portal money to less players than we did last year and that is by design

I doubt we are quite done, but I agree in general. I'd rather bring in 4-5, whatever the number may be that we need, who we know will be key contributors, over 10 that will be fighting each other for roles.
I am all for having competition for certain positions. It is a good thing. But I also like allowing guys some time to settle into a spot.

Scone said we offered him. But Tenn doubles our nil offer.
Scone said we had a 6 figure deal.

So Scone was lying or is getting really bad info. I am uncertain which.
I got a text from a friend who spoke with Brody and his family last night. Brody himself said he was not offered, but Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida offered him. His mom said the Tennessee offer pretty much made them decide to accept. My friend also said the Florida pitching coach was fired while Brody was there.
And I know this guy knows the family very well. They live in the same general area.

Not stupid at all honestly. I’m enjoying my 6 figure job.
Yeah no dumb guy could ever make 6 figures

If we are being perfectly honest, isn't that a bit true about most of us here at some point(I only say most because there has to be one of us, somewhere, who hasn't had our pot kettle moment )

Jay has said over and over again how he'd much rather build a program than build a season. You're going to have guys like Ryan and Clauss who bounce right away, but the more HS kids you get, the more sustainable things become.
Normally you'd say that all of these kids just want to take the biggest check and it doesn't matter where they start, but Jay has yet to lose a guy who was a big time contributor the year before AND was set to repeat as a big time contributor. The closest we've had have been Kling/Neal/Larson, but you can pretty easily see why each left.

Or are you lying ??
Why would I? But to answer your question, I am not. Why are you so invested in Moscona being right?

This did not age well at all. I don’t understand why anyone, other than one trying to start crap or just doesn’t like LSU, would post an early take like this.
First, I think our coach, who has put 2 national championships in the trophy case in the last 3 years, shouldn’t be second guessed by armchair coaches.
Second, when you made this post, we already had 2 highly ranked commits from the portal.
Third, we now have the top 2 players, of which the #1 guy is who you said we weren’t getting.
Please find another school to follow!!!
