So we face a very weak Secondary...and I am honestly almost certain we won't...

Challenge them in any way. We are going to try to run the ball. I wish that we would drop back, or roll the pocket, or give him a pistol deep drop...
Because the deep ball would really soften the USC Front 7 if they would. This is the week to challenge aerially. It's a turning point game at a tuning point in our season. It's time to be bold and do what it takes to make your gameplan and philosophy work.
That's challenge a weak secondary deep. If we don't threaten the field vertically, we may be doomed.
C'mon, Les! Take your foot off the brakes!

I'm honestly certain you're probably correct.

Parking (passing) brakes are set and the wheels are chocked. Prepare for an old school football offense.

We will continue to attempt to run the run when they put 10 in the box.

Since we have a patchwork o line I'm not sure what we'll be successful at. Everybody better dial back their hopes for the O for the time being. This thing could get worse. And yes...it is possible to get worse. (God help us...sign of the cross)

Miles doesn't want to dishonor Bo Schembechler by passing the ball.

and jarvis landry is punished for being able to catch apparently
only boone can get passes because he is Mett's bestie and Beckham because he is an nfl all-pro in his own mind

can't dishonor a dead coach who never won a title himself that didn't even like miles anyway

I think Ds are actually focusing on Landry and feel comfortable leaving the other guys in one on one. On the occasion they actually beat it neither make a play anyway

Okay, where to begin? You think the best way to beat a team with the best pass rushing DEs in the nation is to throw a lot? Sure, their D gives up some passing yards, but in the process they end drives with sacks and fumbles from sacks. Then you make it worse by suggesting roll outs! Have you seen Mett on a roll out? If that's the play call we can just take a knee, that way we at least won't get anyone injured on the play.
So if your suggestions are wrong, what do I suggest? Mix it up like they've been doing. The play calling has been fine, it's the OLine that has sucked, and that's not going to change this week. If we win it will be on defense, special teams and emotion.

We will challenge their secondary until Mett makes a mistake. Then we go quick outs and run up the middle.
This has been the scheme, just intensified since 9-6 game. One mistake, shut it down. Def com 5

Yep! We suck! No chance at all we win this game! Put your money on the Gamecocks.

The wisest plan of action would be to pound it behind the left side of the line all night.
Run straight at clowney.
The more we pass, the more havoc he will wreak.
