It's ok to admit he's a great DC. Won't be enough though.

Brady said Georgia played a defense they hadn’t studied all year when we played them in the SECCG

That is not what Brady said. He said Georgia came out in a defense they haven’t used all year. Brady was well versed and able to adjust because it was similar to what Auburn did.

The moral of the story is any defensive coordinator who tries to mimic another team’s defensive strategy without the right personnel is idiotic.

Also, every game from auburn to current Burrow has said they all come out in stuff they haven’t seen, LSU will call base O plays then adjust. Not too worried about some foreign concept messing this O up

f Venabkes isn’t the best DC in country then he is easily top 2-3.

i have said that for ages. he is a top 3 DC. nobody doubts that

it is all the other variables. he can scheme but cannot make them out execute us. plus he has not faced LSU.

He couldn’t stop OSU. OSU shot themselves in the foot.

It's simple, Clemson must get pressure with 4, and it has to be under 4 seconds. If they do this, it's a game.

If you watch Clemson against tOSU, he will have 6 guys at or around the line consistently. But they are coached up real well to pretend like they are coming even when they immediately turn to run in coverage. This is a little thing, but disguising blitzes makes it harder on the QB.

His coverages on the slot are creative as well, and you can tell that CU had picked up on tendencies by tOSU when they bait Fields into making bad throws and jump routes.

So yeah, he's a good coach. That didnt stop tOSU from calmly driving right down the field when a TD would tie the game.

But he better be watching the NFL playoffs on the Sunday before the game because whatever works in those games will be what Brady runs the very next day.

What nobody seems to realize is Ensminger and Brady will have the same amount of time to thoroughly study Clemson’s defense and find all of the weaknesses to exploit.

This AND what worked against LSUs offense doesn’t even work for a whole quarter because we are able to adjust so quickly. Look at Auburn they surprised us a bit in the first, we adjusted and moved the ball.

Plus it’s the last game and I’m sure they’re plays that hasn’t been used!

exploit what has worked and weave it into his game plan

Cool idea...

...one problem...

What, exactly, has "worked"?

I'm sure Jim Burrow is helping Joe break down what Clempson is doing. We'll be fine.

We are being told he will analyze every game LSU has played, exploit what has worked and weave it into his game plan

Pretty much the job description/requirement of every paid defensive coordinator in the United States.
