I get it. Kanye is not someone whose music you want to be promoting on a national stage. Which is a shame, because I’ve always liked his stuff.

No, I know, but they seem to care more about what Kanye says and demonizing him for it than about his obvious mental issues. You don't have to be a genius to tell that he's got something wrong upstairs, I would guess he's bipolar.

There are edited versions of every song, and for someone as devout as Curiel, I find it hard to believe his walk-up song is full of obscenities.

Dumb argument
The NCAA chose not to play Kanye songs at their event because when people hear Kanye West in 2025 they think "mentally deranged nazi", and they don't want to be associated with that. When people hear those other artists you referenced they don't immediately associate them with their crimes. This is just a matter of the NCAA protecting their brand image, which is completely understandable and within their rights. No one is stopping Derek from personally playing Kanye's music or expressing his Christian beliefs.
