Bama’s gonna run Milroe and then try to hit a receiver breaking free deep down field. They don’t want to see LSU’s offense taking many snaps.

He's not a running QB however that isn't to be misconstrued that he can't run. They have a couple of talented RBs.

Containing the run will be key and while Milroe isn't the best QB they've had, he's gotten better with deep passes, particularly to the left side of the hash.

I see them taking some deep shots and testing corners.

But it's not like Alabama is invincible. I truly believe we can beat them but the defense will need to be very good. Not stellar but good.

They'll try to run a lot, burn the clock and keep the ball out of Daniels' hands.

So, are you stating that Langlois is now back from his knee injury? And our starting S Major Burns will be out for the Bama game? Or are you just pumping doom and gloom?

They will try to burn clock. Mug our recievers. If jd5 does that run carelessly down the field stuff they will hit him so he doesn't stay in the game. They will try to knock the offense off its game initially

Kylin Jackson has been injured since preseason. Not sure of current status.

I think he is available. Kelly has not said anything about him not being active.

LSU has been working on zone principles all season FOR THIS EXACT GAME and I cannot understand why so many people think they're going to abandon that now and change their philosophy.

This is the game they've wanted the zone for more than any other.

Per the participation report, Kylin has played the last 2 games, and I believe someone posted that he was in on a dime package so he wasn’t just on special teams. I think he may have been hurt earlier in the year.

Looks like Jordan Allen got his first playing time in the last 2 games as well.

Expect at least one TD from Bama on blown coverage on a running back on a wheel route. It is an a LSU/Bama tradition.

DBs, guys in bold are out, I think. GP is games played, though that may include special teams participation. So I think 18 DBs on the roster, though not all are really likely to be SEC caliber.

3 Greg Brooks Jr. - Safety, 2 GP, 5-10 187 Graduate Student
6 Jordan Allen - Safety, 2 GP, 5-11 196 Redshirt Freshman
8 Major Burns - Safety, 8 GP, 6-2 193 Junior
14 Andre Sam - Safety, 8 GP, 6-0 190 Senior
15 Sage Ryan - Safety, 8 GP, 5-11 202 Redshirt Sophomore
17 Quad Wilson - Safety, 0 GP, 5-9 160 Junior
21 Ryan Yaites - Safety, 8 GP, 6-1 203 Freshman
23 Kylin Jackson - Safety, 2 GP, 6-3 196 Freshman
25 Javien Toviano - Safety, 8 GP, 6-1 201 Freshman
28 Matthew Langlois - Safety, 1 GP, 6-0 200 Redshirt Sophomore
39 Tyson Short - Safety, 0 GP, 6-2 208 Freshman
41 Welton Spottsville - Safety, 0 GP, 6-0 222 Junior
47 Aristotle Abraham II - Safety, 0 GP, 5-11 190 Redshirt Sophomore

5 Laterrance Welch - Cornerback, 6 GP, 6-1 193 Sophomore
10 Denver Harris - Cornerback, 5 GP, 6-0 190 Sophomore
12 JK Johnson - Cornerback, 0 GP, 6-0 185 Sophomore
22 Duce Chestnut - Cornerback, 4 GP, 5-11 205 Junior
24 Zy Alexander - Cornerback, 8 GP, 6-2 188 Junior

26 Ashton Stamps - Cornerback, 6 GP, 6-0 188 Freshman
29 Jeremiah Hughes - Cornerback, 8 GP, 6-0 187 Freshman
31 Everett Garard - Cornerback, 1 GP, 5-10 184 Redshirt Sophomore
34 Ryan Robinson Jr. - Cornerback, 3 GP, 5-11 180 Freshman
38 Darian Blount - Cornerback, 0 GP, 6-3 170 Freshman

Edited to correct some items. I used the wrong page for participation. FYI you can find participation (games appeared in) here LINK / under the main header miscellaneous.

Thanks to tiger nutz for pointing out what should have been an obvious error to me.

Also, I marked Langlois as out but I am not sure if that is correct or not. Anyone who knows, please update.
