The best women’s sport. Posters here only know how to call for the firing of the coach in the sport they know nothing about.

Pretty much. I haven't even watched them play this year. I might catch a few games in the postseason though.

Were you personally hurt that some fans were chirping about Torina not meeting expectations and (up until this year) not making changes? Seems so.
Settle down, we haven’t even hit SEC play yet. All indications seem that the team has improved, but the proof will be in conference and tourney time.

How is my post a troll? I’m simply stating my generalized opinion and view on softball. Sorry it’s harsh and not sunshine pumping LSU but that doesn’t make it a troll

And I’m saying that overall unpopular opinions don’t equal trolls. Saying something so far from the truth or a blatant lie just to cause other to rage would be a troll but really I just say what’s on my mind…popular or not

I am not quiet, but there is no good place to post for the sports other than the big 3 (football, basketball, and baseball). I think there should be a forum called "LSU other sports" with a link to each of them. Some, such as gymnastic and to a lesser extent softball, have significant followings. I know you can find threads under recruiting, but then these aren't the obvious ones to go to talk about games, development, and so forth. As far as softball, it has been really fun to watch how the team keeps finding ways to win, which is opposite of the trend of recent years. We have a scary good freshmen class that could carry over any momentum established this year.

Glad to see the team doing well. There were some changes made which brought a needed intensity to the coaching staff. Whether or not that was prompted by a Woodward “come to Jesus” meeting with Torina or not, it has helped. This is also a veteran team so this is a good chance to follow through and break through the regional ceiling of the last few seasons.
I hope the program can change its national image. Now these things constantly change but recently you could Google LSU softball and first among the globally-asked questions that were searched in the topic was:
“Who’s that loudmouth idiot behind home plate?”
