Does that make it okay for a 6 year old rapist as you call him? How is one okay and not the other?

I’m not worried about him bringing trouble. I’m just so tired of having to defend LSU when it comes to the Title IX and sexual assault issues. I don’t want yet another piece of evidence that we only care about winning over everything else.

How is it a piece of evidence to use against LSU? This happened over 10 years ago over a thousand miles away from baton rouge and included individuals with absolutely 0 tie to LSU or Pat Casey.
LSU fans are acting like Tennessee fans.

Because we are hiring a guy who didn’t kick a child molester off the team because he was an ace. That is the first thing that will start popping up the moment he is hired. I don’t want LSU to hire a guy who did that. I don’t want to have to argue the reasons that Casey let a child molester stay on his team. There are other coaches who can win here even if they don’t have his pedigree. Plain and simple.

This isn’t coherent. I have no clue what that post means.

We really have no idea what that kid did or didn’t do in middle school. As many defendants do, he took a plea. In 99.9% of cases juvenile records stay sealed. He took the plea with that understanding. Not kicking him off the team for something that happened years before isn’t condoning whatever it is.

Nope! Andy Cannizaro has too much baggage. Would be wise to avoid coaches with a history of "poor decision making" in their personal life. No, but no thanks!
Think Les Miles. I'm not complelely convinced LSU is totally out of hot water with that debacle. Sure don't need another scandal.
At least that's my two cents worth.

I definitely don’t want Casey, but would much prefer him to Canizarro.

He did not only let him stay on the team, he recruited him to the team, not long after the incident took place

Didn't Heimlich graduate from the university? Do you really think Casey had the liberty to kick him off of the team if the school allowed him to continue as a student? Casey also had bosses. I fault everyone but Casey. His only course of action, if he disagreed with it, was to quit on the spot.
Look, it bothers the hell out of me. But, at the end of the day, I have to wonder if Casey really had any say in the matter. In fact, Casey walked away from the school soon thereafter and I really wonder if that had something to do with it. Casey has a daughter himself.
And, no, this is not my pitch for Casey at all.

Dude, give it a rest. You like pedo enablers we get it.

If Casey recruited him with knowledge of this, then frick him. I've been under the impression that everything was sealed until 2017. Heimlich was a junior in 2017.

How does that make him a pedo supporter?
I don’t know, maybe because his star pitcher smoked his super young cousin. Even after it came out, he supported his pitcher. Seems like a pedo supporter to me.

What does this even mean? How do you smoke a four and six year old?

Supporting him in what way? He didn’t come to his defense and say he was innocent. He didn’t condone any criminal acts.

Agree to disagree

Casey still works for Oregon State
