Gotta throw him the ball for him to have a major impact.

LSU doesn't utilize his skill set. Sound familiar?

Maybe that changes Saturday but if the line can't hold up expect more of the same.

Does Burrow even throw the ball the guy’s way?

He cant seem to get open. Like many of our receivers. The only one that seems to create separation is jefferson.
I was expecting something from Giles and he has done nothing so far.

Preseason hype, you say? Frankly, I'm shocked. Eaux earned the job and I don't think anyone could have suspected that there would be such propaganda disseminated on a routine basis.

Not to dump on the kid, he was the leading receiver in a pass happy (and that's understated) offense. He may have all the route trees, etc, but it's easier to find space with 4 other guys occupying the secondary.

I remember when O stated that “ no one could guard him in practice “ and Kevin Toliver and Donte Jackson made a comment on Twitter laughing at that comment I guess now we see

You can't throw a fricking rock into an ocean behind this atrocious offensive line. Here's to hoping it's just miscues and missed assignments from a "new" offense and not us just getting our asses whipped. Haven't seen an OLine look this bad at LSU since I've been watching

His off-season workout alliance with McMillan backfired and Justin Jefferson is the beneficiary.

He put up big numbers in an air raid offense on Big 12 defenses... I’d like to see him get a few more looks in mismatches at slot receiver, but he seems to get shut down by much more physical corners. He plays like he prefers to avoid any contact

Congratulations on ignorant post of the week

Giles not catching balls is a symptom of a systemic disease.......do better or go away

That's because the Big 12 plays flag football defense.

Unfortunately for him his position is only in the secret playbook. Don't worry, we'll open up those plays soon. (next game, next month, for Bama, next season - choose your own delusion).

Giles is a smaller receiver perfect for the slot, he runs alot of underneath routes and sits in the middle of zones. Yall tell me the last time we had a QB that can throw a ball all through the zone and can hit receivers with pinpoint accuracy? We spend more time throwing downfield or side to side and we have bigger receivers that are better on the outsides of the field. If Burrows gets more time he can hit Giles in the middle of the field, but if you really watch Giles is getting open just not getting looks cause Burrows doesn't want to make mistakes.

I was attacked when I said this guy has done nothing to earn #7. Knowing this regime they probably promised him 7 as part of their marketing/sales pitch to come to LSU.
