I heard on the radio or somewhere today that direct TV got the sec network. I didn't care enough to make a thread or anything because I have Cox.

Good thing I dropped that shite service directtv and got Dish. I love dish. They have been great.

I had Dish for 10 yrs. you are fooling yourself if you think they have better service than Direct. Customer service with Dish sucks and that's the reason I switched. Gave them plenty of tries and they continually fell short.

AT&T is likely going to Acquire DirectTV, or attempt to at least. If this happens speculation would be that DirectTV would therefore get SEC Network since AT&T already has contract with them. Not guaranteed, but likely. Mergers can take a while so still want to hope that Direct TV and SEC Network keep negotiating and strike a deal over the summer.

Yea I read an article that said they are estimating a 12-month review of the deal.....wont really affect this season unfortunately.

Dish sucks monkey's balls. I doubt if u ever had Direct TV. I will not not get Dish just to get that channel.

I'd love to know what you base your opinion on. I had DirecTV from its inception until switching to Dish a few years ago. I find every facet of Dish vastly superior especially, their hardware, customization options & remote viewing access. You can't even access WatchESPN via DirecTV. FWIW, it's not just my opinion - Dish has garnered "Best of Show" awards from consecutive CES shows.
