So how did you guys like the offense?

Saw alot of 4 wide like they said during the spring. Im excited about this team and the offense can only get better once they get comfortable.

I liked it. Just need to clean a few things up(which is to be expected after the first game). Actually looked like a more balanced offense

It was pretty obvious that the offense was streamlined due to new QB and first game. Still, very promising.

I liked it, we didn't have to show a lot because we were kicking their arse early on

I think we have 12 days to get it fixed or we’ll get shut out at aub. The bottom line is we can’t win one on one matchups on the oline or at wr.

If the receivers catch the ball and line gets better with pass protection it will be great

Good lord.

Haha. The LSU offensive motto, we're waiting to open up the playbook, but there is some excuse why we can't do that right now. I'm pretty sure I've heard that every year since 2008.

I thought it was good. We made adjustments in the first quarter instead of waiting until half time (pulling lineman, moving the pocket). Put up a lot of points on a top 10 opponent, and then moved the ball when we had to to secure victory. Offensive line has some question marks, and their WRs made ours look like high school players, but we made the plays and they didn’t.

We completed a few balls over the middle and threw slants.
If we could sprinkle in some well timed HB screens, I think it could be a dangerous unit moving forward.

Nothing visionary or novel.
Execution needs work, namely the WRs need to catch the ball, a problem that has persisted through camp.
The game would've been touch and go without the caliber of defense we have.

OL was pretty awful at times.
Big concern considering we face a ton of really good front sevens this year.

Satisfactory for an opener against a good defense.
PROS:
Less formation & procedure penalties than last year's opener.
Burrow taking charge and making adjustments on the fly!!!!
Broussette looked like a senior RB!
CONS:
RPO got smothered the whole night!!
WRs(& DBs for that matter) dropped balls in their hands.
Run/Pass ratio nowhere near 50/50
O-Line VERY inconsistent (dominant one play, lousy the next).

Hopefully the OL will progress like last year.
Was Willis that good or is our interior that average?

It was good. Brossette played like a damn man last night. Great to see that. O line better than I thought but needs work on pass protection. Wide outs looked good. Some drops but jerry will work that out. Very good night

Until E & O regressed into Milesffense I saw one thing I liked alot:
running out of 3 & 4 wide sets, passing out of tight formations.
I wish I could make a rule: when the thought crosses your mind to use clock, you must wait two more series. Every time. That or one shall not go conservative in the 3rd qtr... ever.

Willis was the only bright spot on that team last night.

Combination of both
There were alot of missed assignments and guys not knowing who to block.
Which I kind of expected considering they've played very little as a complete unit.

I didn’t not like the Les Miles version in the 2nd half.
