Vitale knew more than everyone from the beginning because Cal clued him in on it and pulled Vitale's strings like a puppet.
I would be much less upset with him had he gone after Self and K like he did WW but he did not and he won't.
I always say we're all hypocrites - but when anyone dares call him out on that he goes ballistic. He can't even see the blatant hypocrisy or maybe he can see it he just can't admit it.

Dick and Forte don't give a crap about Wade, it was with LSU. LSU was being competitive with Kentucky and other Blue Bloods. "The General" was the combatant. Remove him and LSU sinks back into oblivion.

the only person that beat Wade in the end was Wade...what Vitale and others have done in the process have proven how hypocritical they are when it comes to their reporting, especially Vitale, in protecting his "buddies" at the blue blood programs that are guilty of buying players as well...

Vitale is a hypocrite because he knows and has coach friends that have been paying their players for decades.
But he thinks only his big name coaches are entitled to do that.
While Wade paid out of his !million dollar salary while those big time coaches got alumni businesses to pay up.

Yes in the end he gets to crow I told you so about WW - which I'm sure he's loving every minute of.
But does he win? Because his credibility as an analyst - whatever one thinks he may have had is totally shot in the way he treated other coaches around this same time. I could list them again, but we all know them and we all know the details.
Yes WW did himself in ultimately but that is totally a separate issue from the blatant hypocrisy. And don't patronize us by pretending you don't know Dick. You know good and well that's why you get so defensive when called out on it.
