Other thread was anchored literally a minute after it was posted.

But something is up as of now

1. Mickie Demoss steps down days ago which was extremely sudden. Some close to the program thought it was really odd and it came at a time with no warning.

2. LSU's best player, leading scorer and one of the few SEC caliber players on roster now is released and will transfer for her senior year after she transferred to LSU before.

3. Another transfer will now transfer out as well for her senior year, Tatum Neubert

4. True freshman patterson will transfer out as well, althouh that has been known for a bit.

5. LSU has now taken the roster completely down as one or two more players are expected to reach out to other schools.

LSU could lose up to 5-6 players on roster

At this point there is zero reason for Nikki to stay, next year will be a nightmare without Jackson and we already had a major loss with Louis. Outside of Mitchell and maybe Pointer, there are NO SEC caliber players on roster.

People after the season was over were saying Nikki just needs one more year to prove that LSU is on the up slope because of Jackson/Mitchell duo and Demoss on staff to recruit. Its now all gone.

If LSU was smart, they would just move on already and hire someone good and Salvage the 2019 class which has multiple nationally ranked prospects in the state

Wow, what a debacle.

Luckily, it's Women's basketball.

If JA were doing his job (which is highly questionable at times), he should have seen much of this coming. Then meet with the team, assure players that situation would be dealt with and give him a little time to bring in a new coach before they make their final decision to transfer.

Of course, the key there is, “if JA were doing his job.

At this rate of loss, they’ll be doing good to field a team with 5 scholarship players.

She ignored the reporters all week and wouldn't say a word. Just the small release

Not sure if that would mean she will be fired but yea you lose your star player who basically contributes over 50% of the teams production and then lose your hall of fame coach out the blue, it won't end well

We can't afford to fire Caldwell, besides what we owe her we'd have to pay the next coach and we always give them more.

An affiliate or someone within the program had a fight with a top 2019 recruit on twitter that we were recruiting back in March
