What I don't get is if the Wade situation is tied to comments that seemingly have to do with Smart, how was Smart cleared but Wade is suspended? It seems like either they both are suspended or neither are.

I'm sure the NCAA and LSU has some sort of reopener clause in the fine print of their decision. If they think they have new information I'm sure they can reopen the investigation.
