Completely bending the truth here. Miles finished outside of the top 5 in every season aside from 2009 from 2006-2013. He strung together 3 top 5 classes from 2014-2016 but those classes didn’t address any of our major needs and Miles basically took as many highly rated CB’s and WR’s to pad his rankings as possible. He was never the Superman ace recruiter that people on here make him out to be.
I’m not happy with Orgeron, but this recruiting class is damn good and addresses more needs than any class we’ve had in a LONG time.

We were told that anyone could lead LSU to 10 wins with the talent that Les had. Why was O only able to scrounge up 9 against a historically weak SEC? Is that progress?

I will weigh in here. I was wanting Les Miles to be fired for at least the last 5 years of his tenure here.
Bu the hiring of Orgeron was one of the worst hires in the history of sports. The only one that compares is when Notre Dame hired a HS coach to be their head coach...and I am not sure which was worse.
You do not need to be a Les lover to be hyper critical of Orgeron or his hiring.
