Skylar Mays = Jrue Holiday 2.0

They have very similar games in my opinion. Both around 6'4. Both can play either guard spot. Both can facilitate but also take over a game scoring if need be. Both can rebound well for their size. Both very high IQ players on and off the court. Both very ambidextrous with the ball. Both can be trusted to defend players bigger than themselves. I would say Jrue is obviously a better defender at this point but Skylar is no slouch in that area. Skylar WILL play in the NBA and he will do so for a while. Coming into the season I honestly Javonte would be the one to take over and become the main guy on the team but it is unquestionable who is the best player on the team at this point.

Him and Watford are the best players on the team. But you can’t compare a 1 and done first round pick to Mays.

Mays is 22. At 22 Jrue Holiday was an NBA all star. I think he can play in the NBA but he isn't on Jrue's level athletically

Except when Jrue guards the best opposing player, said player doesn't shoot well like last night,,,Dame didn't make a 3, again...for the second time this year, guarded by Jrue......post less please

Jrue is significantly quicker.
Skylar is kind of stiff.

Mays reminds me of Andre Miller, good NBA career.

Marlon Taylor reminds me of Michael Jordan and Javonte smart reminds me of Steph Curry

Quickness is part of athleticism

Agree. Mays is not as quick and can't guard like Jrue. I also don't think Jrue throws up so many goofy dumb shots in the lane as Skylar.

I would say Jrue is a little quicker.

no....just no
Holiday is a top NBA defender...Skylar is great in Free throws/driving to the basket/biology.
Mays is a good college player and I cheer for him

u are on drugs, jrue holiday has more athleticism in his big toe that mays has in his whole body.

Jrue is such a good athlete he could be a starting safety for the saints. Skylar is not even in the same stratosphere

Very good comparison... Miller not Holliday

Jrue won the skills challenge at NBA All-Star weekend. He’s an elite or next to elite NBA athlete, Mays is a B+ college athlete. They’re not close athletically.

Emmit Williams is very undervalued in my opinion. He plays so much bigger than 6’6”. Has a great inside game and getting to the rim. I agree with you also about Skylar. He’s the heart/leader of this team.
Sorry, just realized I went off topic there
