Ryan Clark

Great Tiger and a great guy. I like Ryan and he knows a heck of a lot more about it than any of us on this board. Not sure why he would say that but I assure you he has his own analysis.

Clark could vote for big bird and he’d still be a Tiger in my book.

Ryan Clark was one of the best athletes on those losing Dinardo teams. He’s also a total LSU homer on TV. And in this case I tend to agree with him. Not on the arm talent but on the basis of insufficient evidence to know if MB will succeed or not.

Why is it anytime a former player or anyone really makes a not so glowing comment about an LSU player our fans have to attack them?

Not saying what he said was accurate or not because its yet to be determined but damn if Clark, Booger or anyone doesnt tow the company line and spout off about how LSU has no weaknesses and will win every game then the rantards here become relentless with insults towards them.

Yes Myles has a cannon but we havent seen enough extended time to know if the accuracy and touch are consistent, Ryan gets to see way more than any of us ever will

RC has been to practices. He’s seen more than us. He knows what he’s looking at. This is his way of saying and warning that things are about to drop off.

Why get mad at him? Accept reality and his opinion

You’re laughing at Bobby Hebert for saying Brennan can throw the ball better than Drew Brees, but that doesn’t even sound controversial to me. Even in his prime Brees had nowhere near the arm strength that Brennan has. He was, and still is, remarkably accurate, and his decision making ability is like that which we just saw in Joe Burrow. But Brees arm is deteriorating rapidly as he approaches 40 (as you’d expect). And at this time, Brennan’s arm, accuracy and all, is far better than Brees’ arm, which is about to force him out of the league. If Brennan develops half Brees’ decision making ability the Tigers will repeat.

I don’t know why I chime in on these things and keep telling y’all that worrying about what an announcer says is like worrying about who will win a WWF match. It’s show business. The idea isn’t to be right, or to win, it’s to get eyes on your product. If he thought it would increase his ratings Ryan Clark would say that Brennan is too tall to throw short and too short to throw deep.

Clark was also down on Joe when he transferred. But admitted he was wrong last summer.

Seems like he goes out of his way to say wrong shite about white quarterbacks

Can you give examples of ex players/media experts raving positives about Burrow, prior to last season?

Does Clark have more knowledge/practice knowledge than Orgeron, or assistant coaches?
Does he have more credibility than Orgeron, Micky Joseph or, Lanehan?

Didn’t Brennan destroy other QB’s at camps when he was coming out of high school?

That's funny Astonvilla Booger, Clark, and Spears have one thing in common, why don't we ridicule all ex black players and keep them a way from the program because you don't agree with their take. I wondering how well that will go over in recruiting.

Y'all need to relax with being hyperresponsive to every comment from someone that's not heaping praise.

Ryan Clark was the only one who said that the offense was going to have to carry the defense before last year started. EVERYONE said the opposite going into last year. Ryan Clark is the only one who said it. Makes me wonder.

This is ridiculous! Ryan Clark IS NOT downgrading Brennan. He came on Mosconas show and said “please understand that I AM NOT saying Brennan can’t do it! But let’s give him the opportunity to run this offense before we go overboard with hyping him up’”. That’s it

And I agree with him! At the same time it’s nice to see he’s getting so many compliments
