Ryan is a stand up dude. He calls it like he sees it. He was not immediately taken with JB Geauxt initially. In the limited time I have seen Brennan, he has a strong arm. We do not know if he can process well enough to be elite. It will come down to his ability to read presnap and make good decisions.

I appreciate Ryan's opinion, but that is all it is. His opinion.

Kinda like Burrow did until he got his chance.

I think it's weird to get angry at people who (rightfully) have questions about Myles Brennan.

There was no question in what Clark said. And disagreeing strongly doesn't mean people are angry.

Aranda was wildly overpaid for the defensive results

Can you give examples of ex players/media experts raving positives about Burrow, prior to last season?

Before last season he hadn't proven anything.

More knowledge? No.

But do you truly believe a coach is going to come out and say anything negative about the starting qb for the upcoming season? Are you that dense???

I like RC, but he was wrong about Burrow and he's way off on saying Myles Brennan has average arm talent.

I'm sure he's a good judge of talent at most other positions, but dude doesn't know squat about quarterbacks.

Ryan Clark does a good job of making himself look like a fool.

You don't need to verbally say anything. Dufus.
What he said, prior to this season. "We are thin at OL and Linebacker".
He brought in a quality O Lineman and a linebacker.
He has one scholarship left.
There have been several QBs in the transfer portal. None, zero, QBs have signed with LSU despite the constant wailing by geniuses like you.
Either they aren't attracted to LSU or Oregeron is not offering.
Is Oregeon "dense" also? His actions speak very clearly.

He showed pretty nice touch on the crossing pass to Dee Anderson in last year’s spring game. Play went for about 40 yards, if I’m not mistaken.

Not really. Texas scored every time they had the ball in the second half. Florida moved the ball at will and only had two red zone turnovers because they had to play catch up. They had a grand total of 1 second half stop in Tuscaloosa; Alabama scored a touchdown on every other second half possession.

They were an elite defense for the last 4 games, but without the greatest offense in CFB history they would have had 2-3 losses and not made the playoffs.

The defense improved vastly throughout the season. They got called out publicly 1/2 way through and we began to see some step ups from there. Aranda wasn’t all he was supposed to be but our D were on the field a lot due to our quick scoring offense. D performance from Bama on was solid.

Definition of arm talent from an NFL head coach. In this quote, he is referring to Jacob Eason but I thought it was relevant to the conversation.

Frank Reich said. 'What I liked about his arm talent is he can throw it on a rope, he can throw it long, he can throw with touch, he can change the speed on the ball and he can deliver from different arm angles.'

I get not trusting the coaches hype especially as an LSU fan because of miles nonsense
Why do people continue to put all that baggage on O? That was Miles. Aside from mis-judging Giles, when has O over-hyped anything since he took over? If anything he under-hyped the new offense even though they knew from practice how explosive the new offense was.

Bottom line, judge O on his current record, not someone else's past.

Arm talent is more than being able to wing it 70 yds. We have not seen "touch" and accuracy.

Yep 70 yards!
That’s an Elite NFL Bombing Arm!
Brees wishes he could chuck a rock 70 yds.
Very Few Can! CJ Finley throws it 75!

I have seen the touch and accuracy! Saban saw it too!

Myles exhibited great touch and accuracy (that you didn’t see) in HS. Saban would have given his ONLY TESTICLE to get Myles after that SR Season going 48 TDs with 3 Ints

I’ll repeat that three times as that’s the number of picks he threw. And, if you watch those picks, two aren’t on the QB

48 TDs with three Ints

48 TDs with three Ints

48 TDs with three Ints

You think about that a spell.

No you know why Saban was said to be “Livid” when Myles committed to LSU.

Myles dad played at Tulane and Saban though he had a LOCK due to the hate between LSU & Tulane, same as the reason Arch Manning WILL NEVER be an LSU Tiger but no one here accepts that.

Anyone remember that commitment and then decommittmemt Nov 30 2016 with LSU That was Satan at work!

Myles signed Feb 1 2017. The rest will be history! Three Years of it starting last year!

Myles is capable of a 50+ TD season with less than 6 picks. Mark it!

Looks like Myles now has his own Buckeye Jeaux on the rant. I hope Pokey ends up as correct about Myles as BJ was.

This thread proves a substantial number of LSU fans would rather be right in their negative predictions than be happy about winning.
Why not switch teams and follow Miles to Kansas.

Brennan has the arm talent. But does he have the pocket presence, the arm talent under pressure, the decision making, or the mobility to buy time? That's what has to be answered. I believe he will be ready, he has a really good arm. Just concerned about the other aspects.

Actually it was Brennan wanting an OC decision to be made (CEO was on binder page Lane Kiffin). FAU was getting most of Sabin’s recruiting efforts.
