You think you know MVB abilities better than the coach .

I’d take that right now. Nuss looks like a zero star recruit !!

Yeah cause Nuss won't give a shite after that .

If he is that sensitive or selfish that he pouts and quits trying when he gets benched for injury or whatever then we are better off without him anyway.

We're not, and LSU's chances with Van Buren are better than trotting out a bum knee, noodle arm Nuss.

Also, Van Buren was a composite 4* and started QB for one of the top football factory schools in the country.

Is it fun for you to invent imaginary claims to argue against?

According to the experts in here, every backup is better than the starter.

I have not heard 1 poster compare MVP to Jayden. Here’s a thought that you should adhere to, be careful what you think, as it may turn into a ridiculous thread on the Rant.

You don't have to be JD5 to pick up positive yards running against a three man front.

But you damned sure can't be GN18

Really the guy was a 3 star recruit .

I haven't seen one post here saying MVB was the next Jayden Daniels. BTW Justin Jefferson was a 3 star recruit. The QB at Ole Miss was a 2 star.

The very second he was named the back up QB he instantly became the best QB on the roster.

No, the instant folks realized that Nussmeier was struggling and not up to the task (apparently due to injury and refusal to throw to open receivers or take off running for easy yards) they felt the other guy should be given a chance.

I just want a QB that can complete a pass to a WR that is 7 yds open- / can run if pocket collapses & does not get sacked by a 3 man rush

I believe he showed flashes as a true Freshman last season.

Who is saying he is the next Jayden though?

Could just use someone more serviceable than a potentially injured and regressing Nuss..

just lost to a D2 qb... ratings dont mean jack shite

Exactly. And he didn't even look good at times in that game, but he was able to eventually make plays. The threat of him running also opens up their pass.

It's what LSU should have done.
