re: Since we're all over the place these days, why not Pearson at 3B, Jones at 1B, Frey at RF

…do you have an issue with me asking this question?

Note I did not start this thread and am not arguing for or against Pearson playing any position.

Also, which set of opinions are one entitled or not entitled to based on knowing which of our players bat lefty and throw righty? Can I have an opinion on pitching, or do I first need to know Pearson throws right handed?

Do not pay attention to flip flopper. He likes to bash people that's what he likes to do. And when you bash him he throws his hands up in the air like a 5 yr old. He's a basher that's all he is. I'm not the only person who has called him out on bashing people daily in here.

Seems he'll do it to the point of making no damn sense too

No, the issue is not with you specifically. But not knowing something as common as which players throw left/right handed kind of discredits opinions, don't you think?

Asking clarifying questions in discussions whilst formulating opinions is how people converse

Dickenson played 20 games at 3B before arriving at LSU. Though he and Milam, as middle infielders, are such a good fit, I wouldn't want to mess with that just to find a place for Pearson.

You people come up with some dumb shite

quote:

Pearson at 3B
Frey at RF

SEC batting

.324 Braswell
.302 Brown
.244 Frey
.224 Pearson

SEC At Bat per RBI
3.1 Brown
6.4 Frey
8.5 Braswell
9.8 Pearson

SEC OBP
.380 Brown
.439 Braswell
.333 Frey
.339 Pearson

Pearson has the second-worst batting average in SEC play on the team (only ahead of Milam). He has not gotten a base hit with RISP in an SEC game. Pearson has 49 ABs and has managed FIVE RBIs in SEC play. Why would we shift things around for him???

Ya this MIF has been stellar. I only wonder if being the man at SS is affecting Milam at the plate.

Prior to year starting I thought it was gonna be Bras at SS, Milam at 2B and Dickenson at 3B...

But Milam has proved to be studly at SS. So defensively it's been great.

Well it's Coach Jay that has decided to try to get Pearson and Frey into the every day lineup, so there's that.

We're just trying to help.

Well he is. Don’t get me wrong; I’m a big fan of his, but his range is limited.
