The box is a great ballpark, a lot o LSU fans hate everything LSU does

I like Jay’s improvements line the same color ads, but the old Alex Box was better than the new. New Alex Box was a junky stadium construction with outstanding player facilities. I’ve been to many SEC parks including Missouri. Alex Box is low quality, but can be improved. If we extend the concourse it was make a massive difference.

Good thing about box is you can eventually do major renovations one day

Good thing for the Box is that you wont be there since you quit on the team again already this season

Might want to build a new library that doesn’t leak rainwater on the students first.
That's not the athletic department's job or concern.

Louisiana is full of negative backwoods thinking
The kind of negative backwoods thinking that thinks it’s okay to bring 20 year old, high school caliber metal bleachers from the old park over to the brand new park, and use them for 17 more years…and counting.

This new ballpark was skip 's dream. I don't think they want to hurt his feelings. We probably won't see a major renovation or a new ballpark till he passes away .. Sad but true.

The live organ play makes for a much more enjoyable viewing experience than all the piped in music IMO
this x1000. The piped in organ playlist is high school caliber.

Whoever is in charge of game day atmosphere and decisions like that does not know what they’re doing in the slightest.

No I’ve just been to many baseball parks across all levels of baseball. I know what a good atmosphere looks/sounds like.

Alex Box looks like a frickin' skeleton with all that exposed steel structure.

Students sometimes get rained on when they go to The Box, so....

So, we need a stadium which seats less than half as many as ours? Nothing wrong with the Box

That left field wall is hot garbage.

I tend to agree. Plus you can barely read the words "War Eagle" on it--it looks faded.

Plus the left field line (and maybe right also?) is so close to the seats the player barely has room before running into the stands.

I do like the organ though.

Alex Box 10,336 (4,054 grandstand under roof, 6,272 bleachers, 27 suites) record 13,068)

Who gives a frick about capacity? The Box isn’t close to being filled all but like 7 games a year.

It looked rinky dink to me. It onlhh to hold 4,400.

They expanded it for this season, it hold 6,300 now.

By comparison, LSU holds 10,718. That is the 6th largest capacity in college baseball. 6th if you disqualify Schwab, where Creighton plays, because it was really built for the CWS and not Creighton.

The grandstands hold more than many college baseball parks (4,052), which would be the 52nd, and 872 more than Oklahoma lists as capacity..

The bleachers hold more than most college parks (6,272). which would be 20th, slightly more capacity than Clemson.
