I can’t imagine he’s better or even as good as any of the lefties we saw last week. Seems like Arky & ATM always have more than half the pitching staff as lefties. And by mid season they are throwing strikes. I think we have pitching that can compete with Tulane.

They’re 19-40.

Another fricking lefty

Yall underestimate the combo of Hunter Holland and Hagen Smith. That combo isn't going to lose games. Fortunately DVH can only afford to do that when he's only playing to win 1 game.

LHP isn't actually our weakness. But Holland and Smith together are everyone's weakness

LSU is 16-5 against lefty starters this year. 27-10 when a RHP starts.

Get out of here with logic and statics. This is about feelings…..

women are about feeling over logic. So by transitive properties……

From Denham Springs? How and why?

Recruiting. Cubs had a starter from St. Francisville several years ago.

And literally 3 percentage points worse vs Lefties…..it’s a MYTH that LSU can’t hit lefties

They hit LH vs LHP abnormally well early in year, but regressed to the mean since then. I’d rather not find out when you have 4 LH mainstays. A LHP can absolutely neutralize you in a blink

People really want to FAFO. Wouldn’t be the most ideal 4 seed matchup

The difference is an effective LHP vs just a LHP. We feast on one and struggle with the other.

We batted .300 against the lefties from Arkansas and A&M, and those are some of the best in the country.

Again, it’s a myth.

if Beloso and Joe Bear keep putting good swings on lefties than just keep trotting em out there

Yes, but U High is not a private school so why wouldn't attendance zones apply as well as parish boundary lines in this case?

Skenes would not pitch against Tulane. LSU has never wasted their ace on a 4 seed in their regional before and definitely wouldn’t start now against 40-loss Tulane with no ace.
