At the end of the article Matthews is quoted... it’s real long but the last thing he says is ““I feel I can go there and ball out on their defense three years in a row and get to the league.””.....
am I the only one who got pumped up just reading that?

I would be all for keeping O as recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach and replacing him as the head guy- cause this is now the 2nd head coach that is under performing with teams stacked with talent. We had the one great season but overall Os teams here are averaging finishing ranked 19th in the nation. We’ve been riding this rollercoaster long enough.

247 (non composite) had him as a 5 star.

2017 was an elite class but a lot of out of state guys and the top in state guys were criminally underrated.

Who other than Perrilloux and Shepard were 5 star QB’s?

Ciron Black was the highest OL with Perrilloux and he was a 3 star

Stavion Lowe was a 4 star with Shepard, but I don’t think he ever made it to campus.
