The Athletic ballots were unanimous for Joe this week. You might be looking at last weeks.

straw poll

"It’s unanimous: Joe Burrow is the winner of The Athletic’s 2019 Heisman Straw Poll."

"Burrow went 51-for-51 in first-place votes (153 points) in The Athletic’s poll, which follows the actual Heisman voting protocol in giving three points for first-place votes, two for second-place votes and one for third-place votes."

First place on all of those ballots? Or just somewhere on the all the ballots?

If the latter, then that one guy’s wife/GF must have accidentally shouted Joe’s name during sex!

Is the actual vote made public? Do we get to see everybody's ballot?

I guess in this “Everybody gets a trophy” culture, they felt the need to invite 4 guys.

Besides having earned the Heisman on the field, which he has, there's the momentum of getting LSU its first Heisman in over 60 years (similar to what helped Mark Ingram win when Bama didn't have a Heisman winner ever at that point).

You can bet that Archie Griffin will vote for Fields or Young.

It follows the votes, snowflake. Invited are cut off where there's a natural break.

Player A 80
Player B 19
Player C 18
Player D 16
Player E 3

Player E is where the cutoff starts. Players B, C, and D are so close that they can't justify inviting one and not the others.

I don’t think you know the definition of snowflake. I know the voting rules. I also know he will win by one of the largest margins ever. The 3 and 4 guys vote totals will be nowhere close. No way should Young be there. Suspended for 2 games and no tackles against Michigan. That’s no stats for 25% of his games....buts let’s fly him to the party.

Bruh, Fields has 40 TD’s to one interception. Joe’s the clear winner, but Fields deserved an invite just like Tyrann deserves one in 2011.

Lol Oklahoma fans now hate us because they want Hurts to win over Burrow. You'd think they'd be okay after having back to back Heisman winners, but I guess you have to doing to something when your team is about to get raped.
