If LSU finishes 6-1 and Bama finishes 7-1, Bama would still go to the championship game even with a loss to LSU. Bullshite!!! UF coward arses screwed LSU over big time. We almost have to play them on Nov. 19th.

At a cost to LSU of approx. $2M ( buy out to S.Ala. and loss of home game revenue of $1.5M ) LSU will never play Fla. on that date.

I can see the narrative now too LSU could be in the SEC championship if they agreed to the nov 19 matchup but noooooooo they wanted to play south alabama. If we get by Bama it's going to suck but we're going to have to lose millions and screw over the fans so we can play freaking florida on nov 19th.

Don't you think we're putting the cart before the horse a bit here?
I mean, we've played 3 of the worst teams in the SEC and lost to one of them. We still have 4 of the best teams we will face all year left on the schedule. I'm pissed we're not playing this weekend too, but the odds of this actually costing us an SEC championship and playoff birth are almost nil.

As I understand it, there is nothing in the SEC rules addressing this kind of situation. SEC may have to make a ruling.

I definitely hope they lose. If they lose and A&M lose, then we could pass on Nov. 19. I just hate that UF put LSU in the position.
