Are you agreeable to this:

If Les goes 15-0, Les should get a raise and extension and whatever he wants.

If Les goes 7-5, he should be immediately be fired at seasons end.

sure.

the thing is....there are people on this board that claim to be LSU fans that are openly hoping for the latter

Where is OU? I would think they would be the favorite with there whole team returning and an easy schedule

OU has to play Ohio State next year along with Baylor and TCU, who will all be solid. Not as tough as LSU's, but wouldn't label their schedule easy.

Why people are still melting is because even the positigers have no legitimate reason to believe next year will be better. Your reasoning is that you can't fire a coach that has won 77% of the games. If LSU goes 8-4 next year then how long will we continue to move forward with him because of his winning percentage. The team has trended downward since beginning of 2012. A coach can't hold LSU hostage. F. King has confirmed that he doesn't give a shite about LSU athletics.

Think about this:

Les Miles - One of the worst offensive minds in the nation.

Cam Cameron - One of best QB developmental quarterback OC, but terrible play caller.

Kevin Steele - One of the worst DC's in the nation. Terrible

Bradley Dale Peveto - One of worst special teams coaches in the nation if not the worst.

They are some of best recruiters in the nation.

If we have the talent, then do you have confidence in this highest paid coaching staff to display an elite team next year? What made LSU so successful in 2011?

rickdaddy to your only LSU fans think Miles is a bad coach ? LSU fans aren't alone, when then RUMORS started a few years back on
Miles to Arkansas THEIR fans were passing a petition to keep him out.

if...if...if...if. if LSU wins the SEC West next year how long will you continue to want him fired? I bet you'd much rather see a 7-5 season next year than an SEC championship....wouldn't you? be honest

Until we get booty pumped and outcoached by Saban and embarrassed nationally by Ole Miss or Arkansas then all that talk will stop. We still have Miles people!! What the frick do you think is going to change? I'd love to see it happen but....

Remember the retarded FPI before the season? Didn't that have us ranked like 6th or 2nd or something like that?

Don't focus on that crap anymore.

I think we have between 1 and 3 regular season losses. If we lose 3 or 4 games next year, Miles should and I think will be canned.

Well Les usually wins all the games he's favored in but 1, losses all the games he's underdog in. So probably underdog vs Arky and Bama and favored in the rest 3 sounds about right

You are correct. Win the SEC west and no he shouldn't be fired. However, if you set your expectations this high and it doesn't happen, then how are you any different than the negatigers expecting a SEC championship? You will bitch about how expectations are too high, we are young, can't win it every year, blah blah.
You are incorrect. I get no pleasure in seeing a 7-5 season next year.

F. King confirmed it. He won't approve a huge buyout. Les can do whatever he wants for the next 3 years.

quote:

wow

What's funny?

Les Miles: Majority of his offenses since his time here have failed and been shut down every year. He is one of worst offensive minds hands down. It's not hard to game plan against his offense. Without Buga, we are fricked even more this year. Once in a lifetime back. Kudos to Miles for getting his commitment, even though he is from Louisiana down the road from Baton Rouge.

Cam Cameron: Still in question if talent at QB is the issue or Cam is washed up or inability to adapt in Miles philosophy.

Kevin Steele: Proven failure many times, nobody would pick him up as DC in the SEC right now.

BDP: wow...lulz

Highest paid coaching staff in the nation for what? Les Miles philosophy requires great defense and great special teams, run the ball, and control the clock. Physically impose our will on other teams that are less talented. However, when a team is equally talented or better. His philosophy fails majority of time. He is even losing to teams less talented now. Name one team Les beat that were equally talented or better this year and previous few years.

ETA: BDP and Steele coach two of the three major components of Miles philosophy. They both suck. Lolololololol

Les can win a nc but still shouldn't get any more raises or extensions. If he wants to use another school for it then call his bluff. Doubt seriously he would leave.

Any ways, I agree there's just something not the same with Les but that's just my opinion., maybe it's just less fire because of age.
