Our fans first and foremost. We've been sold a bad bill of goods each year for over a decade now that we will display a competent passing game. Each year we take and bait and each year we're sorely disappointed.

I mean not really.

Even if we accept Miles's last year as a lie about what he promised on offense, that was one lie. He never suggested he'd change before that. This would be the current coach's third such lie.

I'm not necessarily talking just about the HC. I'm talking about the spin machine each summer that gets ramped up.

But to your point, Orgeron has made more moves to fix the offense than Miles ever did. I'll take a coach trying to fix a known problem rather than one burying his head in the sand refusing to acknowledge said problem even exists.

Funny. An almost concussed qb threw for almost 400 yards against the Self-proclaimed natl champs in a bowl game. We got the arm and the hands. The only question, really, is the line. Lets get it on.

If anybody has the player who can lead their team to the playoffs, it’s LSU and their tough SOB at QB, Joe Burrow.

That group allowed more sacks last season (35) than all but 24 CFB teams.

Not absolving them from bad play because there were quite a few whiffs last year but Ensminger was often calling 5 and 7 step drop back passes when the defense was sending more than the line could block. Having a coach on staff that can help design plays to get the ball out of Joe's hands quickly will go a long ways to help improve the offensive line.

SportTiger1, is it true everyone’s waiting to see if LSU’s offense comes out of the Stone Age? ??

Passing for 400 yards against the self proclaimed national champions didn’t impress too many people because they had a terrible defense and it was still against UCF.

If Burrow passes for 400 yards vs Texas, he will immediately jump among the Heisman discussion.

You know damn well what I’m getting at. Has LSU been known to be able to consistently throw the football the last 10 years or not?

Actually now I dont. Your initial comment was disregarding Joe's accomplishment against ucf, so I bolstered it with more teams he did well against to counter point. The offense is a different thing altogether since Joe isn't at fault for the offense, the bad offensive line, average play calling, and lack of a home run threat at rb did.

What? Les never changed coordinators? Never brought in diff rbs coaches? Online coaches, wr coaches, passing game coordinator?

Funny people have to make shite up to make them feel better about Orgeron.

I want to see how Ed acts when adversity hits. He brought in Canada to overhaul the offense and scrapped it the first sign of trouble. It blew up in his face.

The best way to predict the future is from past behavior. Ed's past of meddling and going conservative worries me. Just let the guys you hired to run the offense, run the freaking offense.

C2 “All true, but a darkhorse candidate, he is not!”

I will remember how forcefully you objected to his Heisman candidacy.
