Shut out vs a conference opponent

The last time LSU shut out an SEC opponent was 2001 Mississippi State.
Is this the season that they snap that streak? Perhaps they shut out State again? Maybe Auburn?
It’s the ultimate sign of domination and we need it.

Chat GPT totally fails me when it comes to sports stats. I keep getting burned.
Thanks. Point is still valid though. 07 to 26 is a long time. We’re past due.

FIFY but the last time we were shut out by an SEC opponent was 2018 against Bama. We were also shut out against Bama in 2016 and 2014 at Arkansas. So twice at home....woof.
We almost shut out an SEC opponent in 2019 but we gave away a BS HB swing pass otherwise we would have shut them out. Yes, I'm talking about the Faggies in Joe Burreaux's last home game.

Oh trust me we all remember the 29-0 game. If you don’t then you’re not a real Tiger fan.

It remains to be seen if Baker can effectively hem a mobile quarterback.

2024 was pretty bad as well but at least we scored. Going into that game it legitimately felt like LSU could win the game. Considering Bama had a loss to Vandy and LSU just beat a very good ole miss team.
2018 felt like LSU needed a freakish fluke bad performance by Bama and perfect game by LSU to even be competitive. We were riding that hype train and it wasn’t real.

Having been at many Bama games I'll never be more disappointed in a home loss than 2012. But overall the 1/9/12 shutout was soul crushing.
2016, 2018, and even 2024 I expected those losses so embarrassing or disappointing as they were they don't compare. Even 2015 hurt more, I thought we were going to win that game and right the wrongs of 2012 and 2014 and we were beaten to a pulp.

Dude I swear if we go another season with a mobile QB absolutely breaking a game wide open, Baker won’t be retained.

Shut outs just aren't as common nowadays. These modern offenses don't allow it.
