It took Dabo wining 2 NC's to finally get a reputation good enough to recruit at this level, the fact O is doing it and hasn't won one is a testament to his ability to recruit. Now, I will not mention what comes next. Because you can recruit 1,2 maybe even 3 classes of this caliber before you must show why you need talent like this. Not really.
If not for the incessive criticism we see on here of swamp king, you prob wouldn’t see the desire many here have to defend him and crow when things are going great.. as they are now.

Ok maybe not expect but it’s what was being sold as what he would do from jump. I’m just glad we’re seeing less and less of the Pomansky crew on here with crazy stupid shite. It’s given me the opportunity to be optimistic. The Roy get was a big statement. Not because I know how he will perform but because of who was trying to get him.

If O fails to bring LSU to contending for championships, then he hasn’t met even his own expectations of himself. We all want him to succeed, but I’m not willing to call it success until he actually does it. The ones criticizing O will gladly stop criticizing him if he does this. This year will tell us pretty much everything we need to know.
I’m not holding him to any higher or lower standards than most fans held Les to.

Not paid nearly as handsomely as what he should be paid as HC at LSU. Has one of the lowest annual salaries in all of the SEC. Unbelievable that he hasn't been given a big raise yet and at least brought into the $5-7 million annual range yet.

The only area LSU really needs to address in recruiting imo are elite offensive linemen. That is a clear area where Bama and Clemson has a distinctive advantage.
