Should LSU just not focus so much on Clark and just lock down the other players?

Surely one player can’t beat the LSU Team?? Or what would be your plan?

I’d imagine FJ is going to have the assignment. Clark of course is a great player but she is not going to beat LSU by herself. Focus on the others .

You mean leave the player averaging 32 points and 9 assists a game? Surely they can’t beat you? Are you all there mentally?

She’s going to get 30. You have to just accept it and hope it takes her 40 shots to get it

You can't become so consumed with Clark that you let the rest of the team get easy shots. Clark had 1 three pointer at the half. But, she had a ton of assist and was giving her teammates layups. You can't let that happen.
She's gonna score 30+. You can't let her have 15 assists and let Iowa score 40 points in the paint in addition to the 30+ she scores.

I think OP is saying let her get her 32 and focus on limiting/shuting down the rest of the team

Keep her at around 30 points fill the passing lanes and keep her assist total under 8 Do not let her drive to the basket and have easy layups. Make her work for everything and get in her head., Lock the others down and limit the others 3 point shots especially Marshall. And Martin

Her passes and her layups killed Colorado. Her shooting today was way off in the first half. She’s not that quick but has pretty good handles.
Her damage today was breaking the defense down at the top then dishing to cutters or driving in herself.
Stay in front of her and turn her into a deep shooter.

You act like this is the first one-"man" show in basketball. Make her do everything all game and she'll be out of gas late in the 4th.
