Good to see you around. And to get things back on topic.

I would think so. But that's why I suggested just Kickoffs. Much easier to field than punts. And White has been doing just fine.

If Jamal Adams was back deep, I think that our opponents would squib kick every time.

I seem to remember Les mentioning him potentially doing kickoff returns before the season.
Same here, but I also seem to recall he hinted that JA might have struggled at times catching and securing the ball.

I admit I may be thinking about someone else though.

LM definitely mentioned someone who was being considered for return man was having some issues with those things.

I'd like to see the Chark kid returning kicks, if he is the fastest kid on the team.

I've not been impressed with White returning punts. His return last week could have been returned by anyone on the team with speed.

If Adams has experience in fielding punts, or starts practicing at it, i want him returning punts. Matheiu wasn't the fastest guy, but he had the attitude needed to be a good punt returner. It's easy to see that same capability in Adams

I wouldn't mind Adams getting a shot.

I would like to see what Miquel James could do with his speed and acceleration. And also being small he could shift through and evade tacklers.

I would personally like to see Trey Quinn returning kickoffs.

Trey returned the first kickoff of his senior year for a touchdown, and after that Acadiana was the only team to kick to him. I think he is White's back up this year on punt returns.

I think LF and TM are doing fine, TM had a great return to start the game last week, and TW had a breakout game too. As long as they do not turn the ball over and continue to get positive yards I think all is good, we cannot expect them to run it back every time.

I like JA on the return team, but would rather see him blocking, he is a beast!

He should be our QB instead of those other two we have.

You guys do know LF has a higher return average than Speedy Noil and Andre Dubose, right?

And speaking of Noil, what was that trash he was talking after our MSU loss?

I don't understand it. I considered Fournette doing a couple returns throughout season (in the offseason), but I thought for sure that Dural, Quinn, Adams, Jefferson, or even Chark, would be doing kick returns as the regular.

Honestly, I was surprised to see LF returning kick. It's not like we ever had Hill doing it.

Fournette told the coaches he wanted to return kicks during his recruitment.

LSU's opponents always kick it to Fournette. I think he has 17 returns to Magee's 1 and Magee's was the longest of the year.

So if the coaches told him no and he picked another school
I guess that would be cool.

And yes LF will have more returns, he's the deep man and most kicks reach the endzone.

I did not suggest they tell him "no".

Jamal can do anything he wants, imo. But, I'd like to keep Fournette back there (unless we increase his carries).

I don't think his request/want warranted a yes or no answer. And a kid who makes that request doesn't have a team first mentality.

We are increasing his carries. And rightfully so. He's our best back.
