I honestly never sincerely thought that they would have a chance, it was just me being an LSU homer before the season started.

quote:

Joe Burrow wins Heisman:

Risk $100 to win $3500

LSU to win national title:

Risk $333 to win $10,000

Burrow is a lock. I'd keep that one. The other, I'd like to say KEEP!

What else could you do with them? Has somebody offered you a discounted amount to cash them in early?

If youre not comfortable, wait until the playoffs are finalized and you can hedge your Natty bet on the other teams. Or wait and see if LSU gets in, then bet 5K on whoever is playing LSU in the Natty, depending on the favorites, if LSU is favorite you can take the points and possibly win both bets.

Yes, I could sell them for less, or more likely what I will do hedge the National title on the other team in the game Moneyline if we get to that point.

Since bet 1 is almost a given and you will almost certainly come out ahead, let bet 2 ride as well and go for the massive pay day.

One is locked up. I’d let #2 ride to the title game. Might hedge a little then.

or if we make the final, he could bet $5k on whomever we play. Last year clemson was +190 so I'm just sorta assuming the odds will be similar for our opponent if we make it. Either we win and you keep $5k or opponent wins and you make $5k on the heisman bet and $9.5k on the national title game. Either way he comes out ahead and if we lose the title game, an extra 10 grand will make it a little more bearable.

Scared money doesn't make money. You got the Heisman bet. Ride the ship bet.

I moneylined LSU for 1200 at +195 and then turned that win into a newly tiled patio floor.

I’ll win $7k if LSU wins the Natty. My plan is to put $1K on their first round playoff opponent. Since LSU would likely be favored, I could win the bet with LSU still winning. If I lose the bet, I’ll put 2K on who LSU is playing in the final, also LSU likely to be favored. So I figure I could win anything from $1k to $10k as long as they make the playoffs.

Absolutely no doubt on Burrow.

The NC is a little more complicated.

If LSU beats Georgia and remains No 1, I’d sprinkle a little on Bama or Utah. Bama Might be a pick em. You don’t want to those bitches costing you a whole $10K.

LSU would be a large fave against Utah. So you’d get a great money line (maybe +400) and only have to spend a little bit to lock in a profit.. On the other hand, we all know we’d smoke them.

Hedging against Ohio State or Clemson is a tougher decision because you’ll have pay maybe -170 for them to win. Maybe there’s another way to do it?

But congrats, you’re gonna cash.

Subtle "I'm about to have $13,500 to spend on hookers and blow" brag thread.
