No. Where have you been? Haven’t you been following along? Woodward sat back and let the head coach hire his staff. He should have intervened!! This all on woody!!
Oh yes, that’s right.
Unless, of course, those hires somehow worked out… then all praise goes to Ed O

Marcel Brooks, for instance, was just an odd situation. The guy wanted to play safety and not as an edge rusher or LB.
This is a conversation to have before you recruit him

Arik Gilbert is a head case Georgia can't control either.
Also falls on the coach who decided to spend a lot of time and effort recruiting an out-of-state "headcase."
The knock on O has long been that he recruits for stars and ignores red flags and fit. This is all in Meat Market. For all O says he learned from his Ole Miss experience, he sure ended up repeating a lot of those same mistakes.

That is a pretty remarkable and pathetic stat all at the same time.
Why is it pathetic? Are you saying the players having surgery are actually just quitters?

Our history with 5 stars has always been mediocre

Would like to see the same stat from the Bama perspective.
Probably 23 5 stars and all of them playing, including the seniors.

Players get injured, it's a contact sport, is looking for the NFL bucks playing a part, opting out to not get injured Yeah, Also snit happens, we have had rashes of injuries before, lots of them. I remember thinking, nobody has more injuries than us. Then for several years none. Maybe there are only a few adults that remain on the board with as many whinny arse fans as soft players ? Maybe that's is soft spoiled rotten fans equal spoiled arse rotten players ? Not that I can pretend to know if a player is hurt or soft. Masson Smith ? Say it to his face, lololol

Not respected in the locker room. JB and JB and A bailed him out in 19. Made him look like a real HC.

Looks like they have 15, and I think only 1 has left

I'm not going to start putting injuries on a head coach for the guys who are legitimately injured.
The fact that we find ourselves in the position of questioning whether a player is "legitimately injured or not", time after time, multiple players, speaks volumes-
There's a lot going on there.

It is 100% the culture. LSU needs to tear down all the bull shite that doesnt revolve around commitment to the school the program and winning. Period. Nothing else.
All of this. Stop trying to be NFLSU in the recruiting pitch where we promise everyone superstardom in 3 years and they are out. Rebuild the culture of team and discipline and winning together and go with who wants to buy in to that instead of trying to trick prima donna’s to grace us with 2 years of their presence before they quit if they aren’t starting or if we lose a game. The culture is totally broken at this point.

It is disappointing to say the least

It is not a run of bad luck. Many of the players have quit on O because he is a lame duck coach and there is not m much to play for, other than pride, at this point. Many of the guys who are hurt have opted to deal with nagging injuries during the season rather than play through it and take care of those things after the season - like they do in most other years.
