Take your superiority complex glasses off.

You care too much about being different, it shows insecurity issues.

His first step is made while he has possession, then a second step is made.

Work on your self esteem.

Referees will never say another ref missed a call. They are all liars and stick together better than the mafia.

Holding a ball like that isn’t possession?

Deon Sanders used to run 70 yards holding it like that!

At the 1:15 mark vs. Saints in 1994

Well than every place kick should be ruled down before the kick is attempted since the holder's knee is on the ground.

There's an exception written directly into the rule for placeholders.

quote:

In NCAA Rule 4, section 1: ARTICLE 3.
A live ball becomes dead and an official shall sound his whistle or declare it dead: [...] b. When any part of the ball carrier’s body, except his hand or foot, touches the ground or when the ball carrier is tackled or otherwise falls and loses possession of the ball as he contacts the ground with any part of his body, except his hand or foot [Exception: The ball remains alive when an offensive player has simulated a kick or at the snap is in position to kick the ball held for a place kick by a teammate. The ball may be kicked, passed or advanced by rule]

NCAA Rules

Everyone trying to say this was an incomplete pass are using arguments that don't hold up in numerous other scenarios.

Shaw is douchebag in a fake conference filled with biased or otherwise incompetent officials. The conference itself is what’s wrong.

Screw the SEC! I hope every team but LSU loses their bowl game.

We did not get screwed by the refs. There were about 6 50/50 calls that all went against us

sternberger has the ball turns 180 degrees and begins to bobble the ball before getting hit and losing the ball... the pass seems to quickly be called incomplete. Isn't the latest instruction for the referees to have the teams play on and let replay review correct if necessary. I accept the play might be called either way but was immediately surprised to see the referees had blown up the play as an incomplete pass.

The step that occurs before the ball is in his hands doesn't count.

So if a receiver jumps up to catch a ball, and he catches it on his way down from the jump, one foot touches the ground and then makes movement with opposite foot (because it's hard to stand one legged on grass) that's not 2 steps?

I call BS on your claim.

Does anyone have an email for this p-stain on football?

sshaw@sec.org based on HerbV's email as hvincent@sec.org.

And if you google sshaw@sec.org, there are hits on it.

Not sure how you could possibly get that out of what I said.

He didn't take two steps with possession of the ball. Hate to break it to yall, but it wasn't a catch. It sucks, but it is what it is.

bullshite!!

He took that second step and turned upfield

What is our player supposed to do, wait till he scores a TD before hitting him

Question- If Delpit does not hit him, do you think the WR catches the ball and scores? You bet your arse he does

What is a WR catches a pass standing still, and stays there about 5-6 seconds then a defender comes and swipes the ball away? A catch

Shaw says a WR HAS TO TUCK IT? bullshite again

That was a catch as he caught it, brought it to his left arm and the tuck just happened with total control, then Delpit hit it out

Was listening to Hester and Flynn, two guys who've played a little football. They said refs are trained to call those fumbles, review the play and correct it if needed.

I have made this point over and over. In every thread.

It also happened twice earlier in the game and they let it play out. One play was an obvious situation where the ball bounced on the ground, but they played it out.

Why didn't they here?

Again, I already know the answer. I don't care what Bama Grad or a bunch of "hard" LSU fans have to say.

This will never stop.
