Earthquake- being there as a kid with the sound of that crowd eruption and the goose bumps I had is something I’ll never forget.
The Arrival of the real Joe Burrow in 2018- his first 4th quarter comeback and how locked in he became and realizing that we finally had a big time gamer at QB.
1995 “Bring Back The Magic”- Twillie’s pick after what happened in 94 we get redemption and it was pure joy.
2003- another payback game. Wiping the floor with that ultra hyped group from Auburn and starting the national title run.

1) Hodson-to-Fuller + winning XP, 1988 "Earthquake Game"
2) Nix-to-Twillie 1995, "Laissez les bon temps rouler."
3) Matt Flynn-to-Demetrius Byrd, 2007 final play "FG attempt"
4) Inferno behind Jordan-Hare stadium during 2nd quarter, 1996
5) Auburn QB Barrett Trotter sacked for a 20-yard loss in the 4th quarter of the 2011 game, after looking at a poster of Barack Obama on the Auburn sideline. CBS announcer Verne Lundquist famously quipped about Trotter, "that meant that he should have gone left."

2003 - they went for it on 4th down at their own 30 in the first quarter, and the LSU D-line led by Chad Lavalais ate up Cadillac! Remember the stadium getting real loud for that Devery touchdown to start the game!

Yes, good one. I’m all about anytime we buried their asses, so 03, 2011 & 2015 stand out. 2013 was fun for 3 quarters. It was forgettable but we clobbered them in 09 as well I believe. 2017 was enjoyable with the comeback.

2008 road trip with my dad, uncle and cousin. Jarett Lee second half comeback game. Was the last road trip my uncle made. He was a die hard LSU fan.

Auburn coach smoking cigar at midfield in Tiger stadium after winning the game. Fire game at Auburn. Earthquake game, and others.

I think it was 2003 against auburn when Chad Lavalais just absolutely leveled cadallac Williams running up the middle and drove him backwards a couple of yards and stepped on his chest.
Then tommy tuberville squatted on the sideline and picked up some grass and started chewing on it.
The stadium went crazy.
It was insane that day. Also. It was the first game that my future wife had seen. Y’all know what happened after that.
There’s no recreating that day from the 6th row of the 45 yard line behind the Tigers bench.
National Championship year. Wow. But we had no idea at the time. The speed and strength of those Tigers on both sides of the ball was just something that had to be seen live.
We both cherish that memory.

Bring Back the Magic (1995) - watched it with my dad (and Mrs. Midnight) in great seats. I think that was his last game in the stadium, but memory fades.
That was a great football game, too.

1980 homecoming, Auburn had gotten the ball on at the LSU 11-yard line with 49 seconds to go on a blocked punt when Marcus Quinn got a pick at the 1-yard line (right in front of the student section) that nearly went coast to coast. LSU wins 21-17. That was my freshman year at LSU, it was an awesome time in the student section.
The Flynn-to-Byrd is obvious. Quinn's int is an under-appreciated play vs Auburn.

My favorite play I didn’t see. I was at hunting camp, no TV. I heard it from Hawthorne live. Great times! The last great moment till the upset at Bama when pigs flew!

Since the Dorsey chop-block I have been 100% over Auburn. Glad we don't play them for a while.

Mike Anderson and George Bevan stopping the Auburn running back from scoring, at the end of the game, from inside the one.
"It was a rainy October Saturday in Auburn with LSU clinging to a 17-9 lead over the No. 6-ranked home team with about four minutes remaining. On fourth-and-inches Auburn quarterback Pat Sullivan, who would win the Heisman Trophy a year later, called an audible to try to take advantage of a gap in the LSU line between defensive end Art Davis and tackle John Sage with a running play for Wallace Clark. Anderson was behind the line, waiting anxiously.
“Oh God,” Anderson thought, “I’d better not screw this up.”
He could have made a mud-covered mistake, but on the snap Anderson filled the gap and smashed into Clark for no gain.
He would have scored if Mike hadn’t hit him in the chest,” Sage said. McClendon would call it the finest one-on-one tackle he ever saw."
I posted this before reading others favorites.
It brought back so many great memories.
Hodson to Fuller was equally as thrilling, as were several others.

Sometimes either 1970 or 1971. Riding around the woods near Meridian Ms with a friend of mine in his Dune buggy. Trying to listen on WWL radio. Terry Beasley and Pat Sullivan on a ranked Auburn team I think. Was an LSU win.
