2001. Auburn gets flagged for stomping on the eye at midfield prior to kickoff.

Saban starts the game with an onsides kick, LSU recovers and scores TD on the opening drive.

LSU band fights AU kicker at halftime.

What a crazy, crazy series this has been.

Lowlight has to be the 12-10 game in 2012 against a horrible Auburn team

For some of the old-timers…October 1969
On LSUs first offensive play, Mike Hillman pitched to Jimmy Gilbert who throws 41 yd TD to Andy Hamilton.
I was a freshman at the time and my cousin who was a year older had a class with Mike Hillman who told him that they were going to score on their first play. Just for fun, I announced to those around me that tge Tigers would score on that play. Looked like a genius. Should have got a little action in it.

1980 homecoming, Auburn had gotten the ball on at the LSU 11-yard line with 49 seconds to go on a blocked punt when Marcus Quinn got a pick at the 1-yard line (right in front of the student section) that nearly went coast to coast. LSU wins 21-17. That was my freshman year at LSU, it was an awesome time in the student section.

Watching Bo Nix run all over the place and beat us at home was pretty frustrating

2007 & 2015 hold a special place in my heart but 2011 is the highest one but for personal reasons.
My grandmother had passed away earlier that week and her funeral/wake was set for early Saturday morning(Gameday)
Well by the time the funeral and everything was finished all the family members were surrounding my phone and watching the game. We all knew it’s what she would have wanted. Is a good cathartic moment for the whole family to laugh and have a good time after such a rough day. That and watching LSU pistol whip them in their Pro-Combat uniforms.

The Saban/Miles vs Tubs years was the peak of the series. Talk about some battles.

Remember Tub’s cigar? Lol

2017 is one of the least memorable games in the series and it included a 3 touchdown comeback in the second half

My first game in Tiger Stadium as a high school sophomore. We were sitting in the South endzone and I screamed to my Dad who was sitting next to me, "He's gonna throw it!!!!"
He did of course, and they scored right in front of us.

1. Flynn to Byrd in route to the Ntional Championship. One Les Miles clock snaffuu that didn't blow up in his face.

2. Earthquake game.

3. 1969. The first day game I ever saw in Tiger Stadium. They were almost unheardof back then. George Bevan blocked an extra point to preserve the 21-20 win.

I was there for #1 and #3. I have #2 taped on old VHS format.

Troy Twillie’s interception on the night the magic returned to Tiger Stadium. I listened to it on the radio. It was no less amazing.
