We can one-up Vandy and show highlights of her speed, talk about nobody being able to catch her if she returned a punt....etc.

We can even put her in for the opening kick off.... so she declare a fair catch.

LSU needs brownie points in anyway possible for sports at this point. Get that young lady fitted for pads.

Yeah I don't think she'll get there but at her age she could def climb to 2nd on that list. And fairly soon

A 100 meter time that has stood (and hasn't really been threatened) for 33 years. Has that ever happened with any record of any distance?

I remember they made a big deal about Bob Beaman's long jump record lasting almost 25 years. But Beaman was fortunate enough to have perfect conditions in Mexico City.

To me, perhaps the only other speed record that is more impressive that has lasted the test of time is Secretariat's record in the three Triple Crown races - even though one is not officiall. We're coming up on 50 years on Secretariat's record breaking times. You would’ve thought that with all of the advances in science and training, one of those records would’ve been broken by now.

She never tested positive for any drug, but drug testing was in its infancy at that time. Many people are convinced that she had to be on drugs and that she eventually died because of her drug use.

FloJo’s death was not caused by drug use. She died due to sudden unexpected death in epilepsy. She had a brain abnormality that caused seizures

I was referencing what was contained in the Irish Times article.

If she did die as a result of her anabolic drug use do you think that would have ever been made public?

With the climate around around track and the use of substances to enhance performance, I do think something would have been released. She was a fantastic athlete and her talents were lost too soon. If Sha’Cari can approach her times it would be an amazing achievement.
