Unfortunately, I agree. Those people have no idea how a self respecting person should act in public; and wouldn't care even if they did.

A lot of our fans think our players are a bunch of ten-year-olds playing Pop Warner.
Newsflash: Recruits don't choose the school that boos them least. They choose the school that will give them the highest chance of making it to the NFL, a school that wins, and a place where they can get the most tail. Period.
LSU has all those things, so it's ok. We aren't going to lose Joe Blow QB to another school, because we boo more.

Sure. People are expressing their disapproval at what most consider bad behavior. No different than critisizing someone for blowing his nose or passing gas at the dinner table.

I have NEVER heard someone called a classless loser or trash because they blew their nose at the dinner table. I'm fairly sure if someone passed gas at the dinner table most people would not say anything to the person much less call them out for it. Doing so would be just as tacky as the person passing gas.

Just as most of us wouldn't yell "shut the frick up" to a boo bird sitting next to us. Does that mean we wouldn't later criticize him (either to his face or behind his back). I know I've pulled a friend aside and told him it's not polite to refuse the boss' offer to pick up a dinner tab (even politely). I didn't "call him out" at the time it was happening.

The booing is classless .
These are teenagers not pros.
Even Harris was upset with it.
We aren't Bama. Show a little class. Just a little.

It comes from the "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.

There actually isn't any connection between criticizing bad behavior and offering rewards for success not achieved. Motivations are different, effects are different, etc.
No connection whatsoever.

Oh come on. Probably 75% of the student body couldnt tell you who the SG President is or even changes that person has made that directly affects them.

Exactly. And if you are a recruit, and you witness that shite, your perception of that fan base would be affected negatively. If you have to boo, save it for a time it us truly warranted. I didn't see any threads or people bitchimg about the booing at the first half of moo state. This situation is different.

There are ways for fans to register discontent with the coaching. Booing isn't acceptable to most people. I'm actually with the minority in agreeing that if you're not enjoying the show, you're well within your rights to get up and leave (irrespective of the quarter). Sticking around just to piss in the pond is chickenshit.

We won 18 games during your tenure, I'm sure there was booing.
